The biggest reason for Lamar's (improved) success as a passer this year, is that he plays on a team built to run the football - but just so happens to be throwing on earlier downs using 3-5 step drops and ball action more often.

Take that away from the Ravens, have him throwing from a straight drop more often, and I'd be curious to see how much LJ has improved in that crucial aspect.
