And I’m very much in the analytics. I think coaches should always play as if they have 4 downs. This new 2 point trend is stupid. Play to stay in the game.

It is BS. People keep quoting this 55% conversion rate like spreadsheets win games.

Again, I am fully into numbers and I’m new age enough to recognize analystics play a part but it’s dumb.

I need to know 1) the specific team going for its conversion 2) the defense you’re facing stop rate 3) momentum of the game 4) personnel you have vs they have 5) NFL OT rules give you a better chance to stay alive 6) etc etc. I could go on.

Anyway…Baker made it a moot point.
