NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

The artificial turf used at Tottenham is the Hellas SoftTop system, which is the exact same turf that has been installed at Jerry World since 2014.

Ohio State won the national title on that surface.

Aaron Rodgers challenges Travis Kelce to Vaccine Debate

Dude is a fucking joke. This is the same guy that complains about the media. We get it Aaron, you got hurt and dropped out of the spotlight for a bit.

I don’t play for the Johnson & Johnson corporation, I play for the New York Jets. So I mean, you know, I made a tiny little joke about a guy shilling for a, you know, potentially — it’s not potentially, but it’s a you know corrupt company and everybody kind of loses their minds over it.”

Says the State Farm Insurance sponsor who plays in the NFL, a $142 billion dollar entity

Dude was the State Farm mascot. Did the discount double check after TDs.

Dude, what are you talking about? Billion dollar corporations selling a product the government/bank requires you to carry and then making more money when they deny claims filed by their paying customers is clearly the epitome of an ethical and definitely-not-evil corporation!

I can’t believe we’ve reached the point where Mike Florio has Pat McAfees show on for 3:30 hours scouring for news.

What the fuck are we even doing here?

There is informative content from that show and I appreciate that when he books a guest it’ll be a good 20 minute segment, but it’s also deliberately comedic and a platform for him to cross promote his other ventures. The Aaron Rodger’s Tuesday skits have been going on for years and i think at this point this is Aaron using the platform to mock how ridiculous this all is.

Rodger’s has very clearly brought prepared material to the segment since it has moved to be simulcast on ESPN.

You are trying to tell me Jake from State Farm isn't really my friend?

C'mon man. He takes your calls in the middle of the night. Why would he do that if he wasn't super helpful and friendly?
