Also, I wonder about the new NFL OT rules, if deferring the ball to start OT is actually better- thus potentially getting the ball back only needing a FG. Seems rare to see a walkoff TD on the opening drive.

I think I disagreed with Saints taking ball first today, but I have no clue if I'm right or wrong.

The refs swallowed their whistles on contact downfield all game. Should have been several more penalties if officiated properly.
