What's absolute turtling by the Chargers. JAX did everything imaginable to set them up to run away with this game and they couldn't stop tripping on their own dick. Shameful. Staley shouldn't be allowed back in the locker room. That's some repugnant shit.

McVay, Staley, McDaniels in Miami next? Thing is these are the super duper smart guys - they know analytics, they remember every playcall from every game in the history of coaching, they are young and relatable, they have generally what I consider good ideas on the modern game.

I guess sometimes you still just need a sonofabitch at coach.

I've been saying for a while that the NFL has a real problem hot-shotting these young guys to HC positions before they're ready. They may be great at the X's and O's in a meeting room, and they may be terrific coordinators, but when it comes down to the intricacies of the HC job, they're sorely lacking. McVey has been a bit of an outlier because he's actually rung up a pretty good record and got a ring, but a lot of these other guys really suck when the chips are down.

Go back 15-20 years, guys were coordinators for YEARS before getting a HC job. Now you have one good year as a coordinator and teams are beating down the door to get to you. It's stupid and the game is suffering because of it.

On Etienne's 4th and 1 run toward the end, might have been holding on Jaguars #17. When a running back gets to the edge that easily, with that much space on those types of runs (end arounds??), the culprit is often a hold on the offense.
