NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

Team makes a big move for a QB, two years in they've done next to nothing to help him. But they'll pay another linebacker. Good luck with the Bears, Justin.

RIP Len Dawson. I didn't really realize how good he was---in his prime he led the league in a lot of categories. I also always like looking up old football stats. His 1956 Purdue outfit ran the ball almost 52 times a game for 3.0 yards a carry. Talk about playing in mud.

Local man from Alliance…he was thoroughly impressed i knew that when I met him in Chicago years ago. Absolute class all the way around. He and Bill Willis are probably the two athletes I’ve met who fit “gentleman” the most.

So the NFL can't suspend Aaron Donald for pulling a Myles Garrett because it was in practice, but they can suspend dudes for things they do in their free time, away from football? What the fuck?

Doesn't make any sense to a degree that I find it hard to fucking believe. They suspended Jim Tressel for shit he did in college.

EDIT: I just read the NFL conduct policy and this is absolutely in violation of it.

There were 3 franchises that I REALLY didn't want to see draft Fields: Jets, Washington and the Bears. All three are a career death sentence before even setting foot on the field. I feel bad for Justin...never had a chance.
