Playing QB at a franchise level is the most difficult position in sports. Lamar came in as an athlete that had an even steeper learning curve to become an NFL QB because of his lack of development in college.
Also have to note that he has had issues with sporadic accuracy and at times a fundamental lack of understanding of what a defense presents him with well before he became a pro.
Like I said after the draft, the Ravens taking him was a huge favor to the Browns. They fundamentally weaken their team and burn a high pick doing so.
Is it possible LJ becomes something more? Yes. But I don't deal with what is possible, I deal in probable. I'd bet a great sum of money that Jackson makes it 2 years. Tops. There is already talk of pulling him for Flacco at half.
