NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

Being able to play two entire more seasons, where his numbers are significantly better over his career, is relevant regardless when we're talking about a volume record.
Brees will not catch his games played total until the postseason. Peyton still has 12 on him IIRC.
My point isn't that Manning is better, which doesn't really matter to me, it's that Drew Brees is the best example of a product of system and location that you're ever going to find and wouldn't have become the same player had he stayed in San Diego, or probably went anywhere else.
I suspect that neither of us care very much about this.

I’ve always felt that similar things could be said about other players. Would Brady really have the record he has say if he played for the Browns.....

630 left, almost had half gone if Arizona didn’t choke.

Leaning Panthers but that is such a tough team to trust, even vs. GMen.

Do I just take New England and get it over with tonight?
521 people remaining between me and 50k.

Biggest spreads are Vikings (home vs. Cardinals), Texans (home vs. Bills), and Packers (home vs. 49ers MNF).

All still available for me. Too bad it’s hard to trust any of those teams, even in a bad matchup.

Leaning Vikings, unless there’s some other mortal lock.

id go Minn (you would think they got their home clunker out of their system already)

Survived another week with the Vikings (181 others).

Could have dropped 120 out of 521 if Nathan Peterman didn't happen. Frustrating.

What a great last second play in Atlanta/Tampa.

Ball on 20 with 7 seconds- thinking one play to the endzone, but Bucs run a QB draw...with 2 or 3 WR's as lateral outlets around the 10 and 5 yard line. Jameis got there but a couple sloppy passes back. If it's clean, Desean Jackson ends up on the sideline and walks in. Never seen that.

edit- the visual below
