Brees will not catch his games played total until the postseason. Peyton still has 12 on him IIRC.Being able to play two entire more seasons, where his numbers are significantly better over his career, is relevant regardless when we're talking about a volume record.
I suspect that neither of us care very much about this.My point isn't that Manning is better, which doesn't really matter to me, it's that Drew Brees is the best example of a product of system and location that you're ever going to find and wouldn't have become the same player had he stayed in San Diego, or probably went anywhere else.
