NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

When you’re down 21 and around your opponents 25 and call a screen on 3 and 11, yeah your toast. Add that to getting rid of two of your best defensive players to the Seahawks.

Actually Driskel looked pretty damn good before he got hurt. Keep him and trade Stafford.

It is hard to believe that with as short of careers as RBs have in the NFL that Frank Gore and Darren Sproles are still going strong. Two 15+ season guys.

Darren Sproles to retire, says 'I gave it everything I had on every play'

Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles will retire after the season, ending his 15-year career in the NFL.

Entire article: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...es-retire-says-gave-everything-had-every-play

I remember Ohio State holding him to 38 yards on 13 rushing attempts and 3 receptions for 5 yards in the 2004 Fiesta Bowl (January 2, 2004) and thinking this Kansas State hyped RB (i.e. Sproles) really sucks. He won't have much of NFL career.

Anyway, shows what I know.....
The good news was we beat KSU's asses 35-28.......:banger:
