During the game, not including halftime, there were 128 commercials that lasted a combined 51 minutes.

And therein lies another problem with the NFL beyond a bad product- in today's fast-paced instant world, the biggest con is taking 12 to 15 minutes of actual sporting action and stretching it to 3.5-4 hours. That is getting figured out and people are over it.

Have to adapt.

Nah bro ratings have been dipping for years because the players hate the troops.

Loved the Jags today but I'm betting on Brady/Belichick figuring them out next week. I think Eagles fans will be brought back to the reality of Nick Foles by the Vikings.

Vikings #1 defense, playing at home, would be the best shot at stopping New England from #6 (but still unlikely). Nick Foles sure as hell isn't going to do it.

Eh probably the falcons last year.

To clarify, biggest playoff choke by an individual who literally had one job to do on one play, a la Scott Norwood, Jeremy Hill, and for you old timer Bengals fans like me, Lewis Billups (they don't show Montana throwing a sure fire interception right to Billups' chest in the highlight films).

Been a vikings fan since the days of Fran Tarkenton and Bill Brown. Not to mention Jim Marshall and Chris Carter...

But, Ive also always been a Drew Breese (sp) fan. Would love to see him win one more SB ring.

Yesterday was just another example of Tomlin being severely outcoached on the big stage. I'm baffled at how Steelers fans don't seem to notice.
I really thought the OC and DC dropped the ball in this game. I get Tomlin manages them, so in the end he is responsible. The play calling on both sides of the ball for the Steelers was truly baffling at times. The two fourth and a yard or less play calls and the DBs playing 10 yds off of the receivers on a number of 3rd and 5-7 yds were moronic.

For sure, some of the blame rests with the OC and DC. But the decision to kick an onside kick, with 2 plus minutes to go and 2 timeouts in your pocket, was just plain dumb, and it was Tomlin's. No NFL coach should make such a stupid decision.
