I can use the vcash, thanks Bears. Just remember, the Pack drummed your ass in the last game of the season.. Just something to think about...
Hey now... Rex had some big New Year's Eve parties to attend, so he couldn't be troubled with preparing for the game.

DA BEARS!!!!! This city is fucking going crazy...what a great day. To the idiot packer fan who posted above about the Bears losing to them on the last game of the season, yeah it meant a lot. Too bad you are sitting at home wishing the packers had someone to answer when Farve retires.

Saints leave Chicago disappointed, but proud of their season

BRETT MARTEL

Associated Press

CHICAGO - The New Orleans Saints couldn't feel too sorry for themselves after falling to the Chicago Bears in the NFC championship game.
Their season far exceeded expectations. And they play for a city where the recent widespread suffering of storm victims helps coaches and players keep setbacks on the football field in perspective.

Defense helps Bears shuffle off to Miami

BARRY WILNER

CHICAGO - The Chicago Bears know how to make a Super Bowl memorable. They're making this one historic long before it's played. Dissed all season long, Rex Grossman and Co. are heading to the big game for the first time since 1985 after rolling over the New Orleans Saints 39-14 Sunday, and Da Coach leading them there makes it all the more special.

Grossman comes through in biggest game

RICK GANO

Associated Press

CHICAGO - As a jubilant Rex Grossman celebrated the biggest win of his life, he found time to share an embrace with the man who stood behind him all season.
Coach Lovie Smith wouldn't budge. He stuck with his often-criticized young quarterback - despite some erratic performances and loud cries for a change.

Saints fans see stunning end of dream season

JANET McCONNAUGHEY

Associated Press

NEW ORLEANS - The sparse French Quarter crowd was somber following the New Orleans Saints' loss to the Chicago Bears in the NFC title game.
"It's like the night of the living dead out here. Zombies," said Lisa Losito, a server at Swampy's Louisiana Cookery on Bourbon Street. Business at the restaurant was down from the usual Sunday, she said. "I don't think the city's taking it too well."

Saints Gave New Orleans Hope for Miracles

NEW ORLEANS ? Who dat? Who dat?
This struggling city needs many things more than a pro football championship. But Sunday afternoon, around televisions in FEMA trailers, in bars in deserted neighborhoods, in homes still bearing the scars of Hurricane Katrina, echoing time and again was the battle chant of the New Orleans Saints faithful.

Bears follow old blueprint with running game, defense
Monday, January 22, 2007
By Gene Chamberlain Copley News Service

CHICAGO The blueprint has been there for 86 seasons, so the Bears merely followed it to perfection.
They trampled the New Orleans Saints, 39-14, Sunday for the NFC championship, advancing to their second Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 4. They'll face Indianapolis, which beat New England, 38-34.

A bunch of highrises downtown are showing their support for the bears; Hancock building has blue and orange lights at the top, CNA building has GO BEARS lit up from the offices, Prudential has DA BEARS and BCBS has BEARS. Great day to be a Chicago Bears fan.

What, Rexxie not good enough for you???? We'll see you next year, probably around the middle of May. Meanwhile, good luck in Miami, where it's not cold, and not muddy... :)

NUCCIO DINUZZO CHICAGO TRIBUNE Saints running back Reggie Bush flips into the end zone for a third-quarter touchdown on an 88-yard pass play.
CHICAGO ? Maybe Reggie Bush?s taunts fired up the Chicago Bears defense.
One moment, the New Orleans Saints rookie was taunting Brian Urlacher on the way to the end zone. Then, the Bears clamped down to advance to their first Super Bowl in 21 years, winning 39-14 yesterday in the NFC championship game.
