NFC Championship: Saints at Bears(-2.5)

Did anyone actually think that it would be mistakes by Drew Brees costing the Saints instead of errors by Rex Grossman costing the Bears?
Honest answer, no.

This has turned into a rout. A very sad end to the Saints season. Home field and disciplined football wins out.

Quick quiz:

How many Saints turnovers have NOT lead to points for the Bears?

How many Saints mistakes have not lead to points for the home team?

Add those two numbers together. Is the result divisible by one?

Interesting stat...

Grossman's net QB rating for the season was 73.9 Today was 73.2. Neither of those is spectacular, but it proves that the Bears are good enough to win with an average QB--just as long as he doesn't lose the game for them.

They have already started the "first african american to coach in the super bowl" talk. It drives me crazy. If we are ever going to get past color and see people as human beings, then we need to stop this kind of stuff.

The media will spend more time talking about Lovie's skin color than his accomplishments as a coach.
