CHICAGO ? While his teammates were considering how good they will look ? "Stronger," Daequan Cook said with a grin ? Greg Oden had a more utilitarian perspective on the Ohio State men?s basketball team?s new, formfitting jerseys.
"If I get grabbed in those and that?s not a foul, there?s something wrong," he said.
To each his own today when the Buckeyes break out their new Nike duds with the LeBron James "LBJ" insignia on the left breast and new white shoes with scarlet trim. Ron Lewis and Jamar Butler each promised he will look the best in the tight tops and longer, baggier shorts.

Likely you'll have to wait until the Final Four to see them, seeing as how the top seed wears the home uniforms in the Big Ten and NCAA tourneys. :osu4: . I actually like the new jerseys. The players apparently didn't order the skin-tight sizes, which IMO is what made the pictures of the jerseys look ridiculous.

Where's Lord Jeff Buck? We need a poll on who likes the new unis for B-ball and football. I bet it splits along age lines with the older set voting for the older stuff and the kids voting for the new. Personally I think the changes in the last two years have been God awful.
