I doubt that OSU would jumb VT in the BCS poll this week. Actually, VT has gained more points in the Harris poll compared to OSU since last week. And in
coaches poll OSU has slightly gained over VT but still VT is more highly ranked than OSU. In Harris poll VT has 2313 points as opposed to OSU's 2180 and in Coaches poll VT has 1290 as opposed to OSU's 1162. And since the computer rankings are not influenced by the changes in Harris or Coaches poll - even taking SOS into account - I doubt there would be any change in the BCS standings between OSU and VT. We are still going to be 6 in BCS.

So I believe that this week's BCS may show that Va Tech is a little further ahead of OSU this week than last week.

Excellent analysis.

It seems to me that Virginia Tech will further solidify its BCS lead with an expected thumping of FSU next week. This obviously wouldn't hold true if the polls don't take conference championship games into consideration.
