Gartrell Johnson of Colo St. with 279 yards rushing and 90 receiving.

I didn't set up the most-yards-by-RB-in-a-bowl and most-yards-by-QB-in-a-bowl vBets this year. 279 would be a tough mark to beat.

Fresno St. was up 28-20 with the ball at midfield early in the 4th quarter. Brandstater threw a brutally bad interception on a screen pass, and it's been all Colo St. since then.

Good game, and amazing running back...but WTF is up with the bare midsection? This is not the 1980's...we don't need to see sweaty men in damn near half-shirts.

Fresno State scored with 55 seconds left. Down 40-35, with an onside kick coming up.

Colo State covered it easily. I'd be taking knees, but they just handed it off to Johnson to get a few more yards.

I enjoyed it - it was nice to see the hometown team get a bowl win. And I believe Gartrell Johnson really made a name for himself and hopefully improved his draft stock...
