You mentioned you are looking for "traditions" of the Big Ten teams. Every year we do a write up of our game day opponent and included in the "Additional Info" section is a section on traditions.

You can get started here: Link

Since Ohio State doesn't play ever team every year you may have to do a little digging.

Me and a buddy of mine started up a blog last year and actually wrote about the 5 best Game Day Traditions in the Big10 about 6 months ago or so. This is a good start for learning some of the Big10 Traditions. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Thanks...good reads!! I know these kinds of things take course naturally over a long period of time, but I'm hoping Nebraska can have a few of these types of traditions develop after a while. Some game trophy ideas being kicked around on a husker board...

So what kind of rivalry trophies can we introduce between Nebraska and Big 10 teams?

Iowa-Nebraska needs a mushroom cloud made out of corn, with each kernel displaying the score for a given year. Cornmageddon!
I always liked someone else's suggestion of "Farmageddon" better, but I do like the mushroom cloud of kernels idea.

Nebraska folk really didn't like the farmageddon name when they first joined the B1G though...I doubt they like it any better now. :tongue2:

Fuck you...

And to the OP - Welcome aboard!

Sheesh, can't pay a mofo a compliment, LOL

In any case - Lando - I think the first trophy we should come up with is one where Herbie Husker craps a corn cob onto the head of a dead Herky the Hawk - or maybe a trophy of Crouch trucking the Iowa Defender?
