You are now seeing BP on its new boxes. Beyond that, the 'bones' of the site are 100% different than they were before. The site has literally been rebuilt from the ground up, we're not using any of the files we were before. Everything is upgraded, updated, and is as current as all of it can get.
Deety (without whom this wouldn't have been possible, and the same goes for our good friend Matt (mrperfect here on BP, so fitting)) and I have tested, tweaked, and retested everything. I fully expect that some things aren't going to be working as expected once people really start playing with the nuts and bolts.
So PLEASE post in this thread if you come across something that you think is broken, and we will do our absolute best to fix it in reasonably short order. We're all going to be recovering from this process over the next few days, but I know Deety and I will be checking in regularly to look for bug reports.
Welcome to the new boxes. Not to sound too moochy, but I hope we have a great Spring Drive so we can actually pay for ours. I suspect we'll all discover that the site will just FLY on days when traffic is very high -- and we should even see a nice little boost in performance when it's not.

- Clear your cookies for buckeyeplanet.com (all of them going all the way back) and that should resolve the issue. Alternatively, once your browser does that for you you'll be good to go, but there's no need to wait. http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?answer=32050
STEPS TO TRY IF YOU'RE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS:
- Log out, and check the "Remember Me" box when you log back in.
- Make sure your bookmarks are pointing to http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/(whatever else) rather than http://buckeyeplanet.com (buckeyeplanet.com just rewrites to www.buckeyeplanet.com anyway -- and I doubt any links to the root domain are causing problems, but let's cover all the bases.
- Make sure your browser is allowing cookies (it almost certainly is, unless you decided to turn that off -- in which case you're having to log in fresh everywhere you go, not just here.
- Make sure you've cleared *all* your BP cookies going all the way back.
- If you ARE still having problems after all of that, please provide the following:
- A description of exactly what happened (for example: "I entered my login and password, hit the button to submit, when the page reloaded I wasn't logged in anymore" OR "I was logged in, walked away for X minutes or hours and when I came back and clicked on something I was logged out.").
- A description of what message you received, if you got one. Cinci mentioned a vbulletin notice telling him to clear his cookies. While I've never seen or heard of such a thing, it may well be in the system and I just don't know about it. Are we sure it wasn't just the temporary notice I had put in place underneath the navbar telling people to clear their cookies if they were having log-in problems?
- What browser (and version) you're using so that others with the same who aren't having problems can compare settings.
- Be patient with me, we will get you fixed. :)
