I'm alright with the men's new uniforms as long as they (Nike) somehow find a way to get OSU to wear black uniforms.

Why do we need black uniforms? I think there are enough teams practicing that modern cliche' already. If we wear an alternate uniform, let it be gray.

one of the other sites says there will be a gray alternate.

That works, and I like the new white unis, btw. The scarlet and gray stripes add some much needed color to them.

I really like them, especially the stripes. The second I saw them I thought "that's an Ohio State jersey." As opposed to the old jerseys which made me think "that's a generic nike quitness jersey in our colors."

- The Buckeyes unveiled a second set of new uniforms Nike sent them last week when they wore gray jerseys and shorts for the Iowa game. One change from previous sets was the presence of white (instead of scarlet) numbers and letters on the jerseys. "I like 'em," Lighty said.
"So far, so good, as long as we keep winning in 'em. We?re 1-0 in both jerseys. We?ll see what the red ones bring us."
The Buckeyes will break out their "road reds" Saturday at Illinois.
