Need Bachelor Party Ideas in Columbus

I've been told to do either Excalibur or Solid Gold. Any suggestions there?

Excaliber sucks... Solid Gold... I believe is now Columbus Gold... they'll hook your buddy up pretty well on a Bachelor Party type embarrass the heck out of him thing... I like the Doll House in that part (generally) of town... Kahoots is better than it used to be... but not very conducive to a group of more than say 6 or 8.

Cool. I was leaning toward Columbus Gold. He actually lives up in Powell, so Excalibur would've been a pretty good hike from downtown, and where most of the guys live.

Let me get this straight... it is the groom's dad and uncle right? Why would they kill strippers? I still remember seeing my 60 yr old Uncle laying on his stomach and the stripper riding him like a bronco spanking his ass with the spatula.

But seriously, the key is to have 2 halves of the party. The "early" party which has food and calmer activities (golf, horseshoes, poker/cards) for older folks & future in-laws. Then around 9-10pm limo bus picks you up and you take off for the strip clubs!

Pure Platinum is, BY FAR, the best strip joint in town. It's a little more expensive to get in ($10, I think), but you get to take in your own beer and liquor, so it's significantly cheaper in the long run. The girls there are frickin' amazing, as well. Plus it's totally nude. None of this topless shit for me, thanks. If you go, make sure the chick named Dani dances for you (or the bachelor). She's awesome, and she'll hit you. Seriously.

Not that I know personally, of course...I've just heard. You know.

The only thing I will say about my bachelor party is that there were two nekkid femme's, no bouncer, cigars, liquor, a lot of produce, and the shower was used. You will get nothing else out of me.

Though... if you hear sharp loud noises... that would be gunfire in the parking lot.. .or am I thinking of Dockside Dolls?

IBI--- Early evening activity... just athought... good "guy thing" without ridiculous booze... I've done this one (cheaper than golf and a bit lter in the evenign)... you could go down to Scioto Downs and hang in GA for a couple races (jsut 4 or 5)... get some wagers in and leave... that might shake the Dad/Uncles if there was some chow prior to that... if no cookout you could go to Palnks in GV before Scioto and get some Pizza... good accomodations there for a large group...

Might work.. Might not.. I'm jsut thinking out loud right now.

If you really want to wear them down, or possibly give them a coronary. Take the group out to Speeds indoor Karting Center and do a couple group karting sessions. It is fun, and beats the shit out of you. They sell beer there, and by the time you are done they will be spent. Or if you really want to get live life on the edge and get dangerous, go to a Clippers game. :wink2:

A good time was had by all. There wasn't enough of us to justify getting a bus, and we had our typical group of 3 or 4 guys that always want to leave earlier than everyone else, so a few of us got a cab/mini-van.


We did the dinner thing at Damons across from the Hyatt downtown, and went to the bars from there. Tried Spice(sp?), but those fuck stains weren't all that happy about a group of 10 guys coming into their bar, and told us that since one of the guys had tennis shoes on, that he couldn't come in, i.e. they didn't want us in there. We explained to them the whole bachelor thing, and that we weren't there to make any trouble, but ended up moving on to Gaswerkz anyway. Lots of hot women, good times were had. Moved to an Asian bar, and at 5'10" I felt like a giant. It was pretty dead so we went from there to Brothers, and closed the place down. There were beautiful women everywhere, and everytime I go out in downtown Columbus, I wonder why I ever moved away.

After Brothers, we headed to Columbus Gold. Closes at 2:30? What the fuck is that all about. Went next door, to Pure Platinum. Despite the massive amount of bitching about the $25 cover, we finally went in. Good times were had by all. I think that my buddy had a pretty good bachelor party, so as a best man, I haven't turned out to be a complete failure...yet. Thanks for the help guys. Now, who wants to write a best man toast for me? :biggrin:
