Don't get me wrong, he looked good. But how many of those 20 completions were thrown from a clean pocket and uncontested with WR's running alone?

Not impressed with the Illini secondary, which I wasn't expecting to be. Not like WI has elite burners. I feel like Illinois expected a typical grudge match vs. Wisky in the trenches and they never adjusted to the success Mertz was having in the passing game.

That’s it last year we had a good OL but I thought it was the weakest unit on Offense. We aren’t short on physical talent but will they be sound as a unit, wil they eliminate pre snap penalties and missed assignments. I think Wisconsin gets more out of their OL with less talent.
