Maddening. They have nothing without the read option. Line up and run. Sweep/counter away from defense. No one is buying the QB keep and it just delays handoff.
Brady and Dion Lewis do it in NFL but still pass 60 times.

I don't think the play is bad, it just has to be used correctly. It needs to be used when the inside run and occasional counter has been working for a while, like how play action uses the threat of a run to get receivers open.
It's just dumb to run that play in the first series. You'd think the brain trust in the offense room would know that. It's really football 101.

Running up the middle you sure won't, and you can see that at the line well before to switch out.
You can run against an out manned box all day long, and take it to the house...just have to get angled and an OL that can get 5 feet up field.

It's all D-line. The LBs are getting blocked even on the good plays because they aren't attacking.
