My brother in-law is a psychologist. One quote that he often uses is "sooner or later you realize it hurts and you stop hitting your thumb with the hammer." I suggest that you put the hammer down.

My point that I was trying to make with the stats is getting taken out of context. If you look a bit further, I clarify that point.
If the current coach wasn't from Nebraska (and didn't win a National Championship in 1997), then he'd be FORMER Nebraska head coach Scott Frost, right behind Willie.
At this point, he's playing with house money, but the house is ready for a return on investment. And losing winnable games doesn't help.
