So scared they refused to play the Huskers on Sunday...

Oh... had nothing to do with the fact they couldn’t get rooms for the whole team and staff at midnight without using every available hotel in Nebraska. And how many hours does it take to get 5 players to this hotel 10 to that hotel.. 9 to another hotel and on and on. then collect them all to get them to the stadium the next MORNING. DUH.

Omaha is sixty miles up the road. Plenty of hotels grouped together. Hell, my mother in law works at one of em. Call me.

Your logic is bewildering
think about that... game cancelled at 1030 so what time can they get everyone out of the locker room... midnight? and somehow find rooms for 100 players and staffers...
let's forget this is Labor Day weekend and one of the biggest travelling days of the year... plus the 90,000 fans who already booked rooms everywhere for this game.. so rooms will be much more difficult (or impossible) than usual...

then you have over an hour of travel to get to Omaha... let alone multiple hotels... so you probably have players getting to bed say 2-3 am.. assuming they don't feed them
then up at 5, breakfast and fetch everyone again... another hour commute, get dressed, taped and warmups... for a morning game.. to play Nebraska..
can't imagine why any team wouldn't jump at that... and sure the Zip medical staff was saying "hell yeah, let's play.. sleep is overrated"

and MAYBE the airline you chartered the plane from.. told you.. "oh sure, you need it another day?? .. no problem... we weren't using that plane anyway?
or you could ask your Mother-in-law... how many empty rooms did you have Saturday night?

Logic? No logic in my statement. I'm just pissed because all I saw was a swag walk, a kickoff, and was forced to watch BAYLOR FOOTBALL all damn night long.

BAYLOR.

You know what that DOES to a person, man?!?

EDIT: Plus, I had BBQ!!!!

As if there are a lot of vacancies in Omaha hotels on a Nebraska home football Saturday. And that late night drive from Lincoln to Omaha is such a joy.

So I was chatting with a friend that was in the stadium during the weather delay.
She said that at first, it was just a light drizzle. Then, the drizzle turned into a torrential rain with 80 mph winds.

I was laughing as she described the carnage of flying Valentino's boxes impaling little kids, and Runza wrappers suffocating people.
