Well, he got them to 7 bowls in 10 years, including 5 in a row. Before he arrived, they'd played in 5 bowls...total.

only because literally HALF the teams in college football get to go to bowl games.

without the bowl glut, he'd have had them in one or two maybe. the Sun Bowl is the only thing close to a traditional bowl game, and that's been a matchup for also-rans for, like, ever.

Well, the Mason years were certainly better than the afterthought status they were relegated to in the disastrous Brewster regime.

Brewster set that program back about 10 years. The jury is out on Kill yet, just because he inherited a disastrous team. I feel like they're another team in the mold of Illinois; with a major metropolitan area right on campus, they've certainly got plenty of built-in recruiting advantages but just can't take advantage of them. Building TCF was a start.

As I originally posted herehttp://here.

Before Mason: 86-134-3 36.24%
During Mason: 64-57 52.89%
After Mason: 17-33 34%

I just saw that and am digging for copy now.

I did find this though, which I thought was great:

Sentiment I'm reading across the board is that UNL fans and donors put game day at the Shoe second only to their own. Understandable.

Glad Buckeye fans made a good, positive impression Saturday night.

Yeah, can't really blame them for being homers. That's expected.

No way in hell Husker will ever convince me that Buckeye fans didn't threaten the lives of the elderly and children, and piss on them from balconies. I mean, after all, that's what happens at tOSU games. Read the internet, Huskers.

Yeah, people can't post things on the Internet that aren't true.

BUCKYLE is actually a French model.

Tossing Lachey and Desmond off C-Deck would have been a fantastic start.
When I first read that, I thought, "Why would you want to throw Jim Lachey off of C-deck?" I had to look it up, because I'd forgotten that Nick Lachey was part of that goofy stunt. Hell, I'd forgotten that Nick Lachey existed. Thanks for reminding me.

Who hasn't peed off of C-Deck onto visiting fans at one time or another? Who hasn't thrown a visiting fan off of C-Deck at one time or another?

Exactly. As a wise man once said "Not everybody is a perfect person in this world. I mean, everyone does ... kills people, throws fans off of C-Deck, steals from you, steals from me, pees off of C Deck."
