Each player in this dynasty has a certain style that they rarely vary. After about 2 seasons you'll start picking up how to beat different schemes from hearing people bitch in this thread. Biggest thing I saw is that you need to control your WR's and not let the CPU takeover.

not blaming everything on my lag, but im hooking up a hard line to the PS3 tomorrow to see if it helps. I would try to pass the ball to an OPEN (at the time) WR and just have a nasty lag to when i did throw it, triple coverage. I couldn't run the ball, had one i broke up the middle(fluke) other than that i need to start playing more online. its different for sure. Im the rookie beat my ass 
Also had many drop due to not being able to BE the WR and catch the ball. first 3 drives dropped all 3 "1st down passes"

Good game, Mania. Your defense is nuts. You have some ball-swatting linebackers, that's for sure. By the time I figured out your offensive game plan it was too late. I couldn't do a damn thing on offense. Short passing game? Nope. Stretch the field? Uh-uh. Hurry up? Please.
I haven't experienced lag this bad since the early Madden days. I had a dreaded zero-power punt. It also made running the ball next to impossible. I'd see a hole, try to turn into it, and watch as my back just kept going in the same direction. Hitting pause helped. There was a point in the second quarter where I couldn't even call a play. I wasn't sure if the hitting left or right registered, and I ended up jumping past the play I wanted. The computer picked my defense on a number of occasions because of that. The funny thing is, the computer usually did a better job of it than me. I tried to audible out of one play, you snapped it too fast, and I ended up tackling you for a loss. Maybe I should have just let the computer do the work all game. Pausing the game and quickly restarting it seemed to help for some reason though.

I couldnt really get my offense rolling, at all, we both played pretty good D (we both ended up with 222 yards of offense lol)
the lag was freaking horrible for about 1/2 of a quarter for some reason, then it went back to not lagging (at least for me)

'mania is just giving people that haven't logged on to their PS3 a heads up that there is a system update. That way I know it will take anywhere from 10-30 minutes before we would actually be able to do anything while we update our firmware.

I did my recruiting last night and figured Houston was the best team on my schedule to have visits set up. Then I went to play my game against computer controlled Houston.
I think tonight is no good but we'll see how it goes.

Lag is a real problem in this game. I've used wired and wireless with similar results. Very, very difficult running the ball. I could not kick the ball more than 3/4's power no matter what I tried.
