What a rough game. Tackling is a bit of a farce so far. Missed countless tackles despite being on conservative. The blocking schemes are MUCH improved, it's great to see linemen getting to the second level even if it is to block you.

As an aside, the deep pocket still exists in 2011 as it has in previous years. They have the lateral pocket fixed, but straight back hasn't been.

I definitely like the direction of the game this year, should be a very competitive couple of leagues; it was frustrating to get ran on, but it was because the Rutgers players are better than UC's defense. I overload inside, holes opened outside, played the outside, lanes opened in. Was nice

yea tackling could be tuned, I was about to toss my controlled on those 2 plays in a row where I had you dead to rights sacked and Collaros somehow shook my guy off both times

loving that blocking actually works this year, makes for good running vs humans (still cant run vs the freaking computer though)

I have noticed; playing the CPU too; that QB's in the pocket are much more elusive then when they are out.

It hasn't for me. I've rarely experienced lag in NCAA.

I had a slight lag last year, but it was something you can adjust to, this year. not so much.

FYI - We will be advancing to Week 3 tonight around 8pm. Looks like 2 people didn't do recruiting.

Also, this will be the start of our normal advances on Sunday/Thursday. So next advance will be Thursday night (unless there are some scheduling delays for the human games)

Good game, Piney. I think HFA had a lot to do with your QB's inability to complete some of those simpler throws. I was loving Shane Vereen running wild until you took him out for the next three weeks.

Speaking of which, what's with people in these dynasties killing my running backs? Stop it, already. Damn.

I uploaded some videos to the website. One of them is a tipped interception that Tech's QB liked to throw.

I know a lil late on this, but ya know I don't post on the weekend

But good game Olaf, you really kicked my ass. Thankfully I took Vereen out, but that didn't seem to stop your backup from running all over me either.

You can probably tell that was my first online game this season. Dang, I really need to play more often. Thankfully my next human game in this league is at the end of the season when I play BN and then the assume Big XII title game against Nole (hopefully I will get there)

And the result of that game has told me it is time to replace the QB. You would think an accuracy rating of 95 wouldn't throw so many crappy passes. The icing on the cake was my last real drive where I had enough time to score and then attempt an offside kick. I am at the 30 and for some strange reason my QB couldn't complete a 5 yard pass where Olaf's WHOLE defense was in the endzone. 3 passes in a row like that and I literally threw the controller down, almost broke it and pissed off the wife cuz I woke her up.

But that is just me ranting... cuz Olaf kicked my ass and only due to prevent defenses was I able to make it close.

I've yet to play a user game with this version, but I haven't had kick lag since the first couple of games in NCAA 09. That was before I got rid of the wireless connection, and stopped using the controller wirelessly.
