When I'm on autopilot, the CPU actually does some recruiting for me, right? It's not like I'm ignoring my list of players for 3 straight weeks?

Yes, the CPU will recruit for you. It may not be the way you would have done it, but at least it's done.

As for my promise of playing time, I was worrying about nothing. I never promised him it. Looking at my promises, all I told him was that I wouldn't redshirt him. So no worries. I could have sworn I promised him playing time, but I didn't.

Yeah, it will recruit the players on your list. If you kept your recruiting plan on default (ie telling the cpu not to add players, schedule visits & offers) they might even add recruits and try to get other players.

I didn't bring in the final recruiting ratings, but I do recall you finished with a better class than Baylor.

Speaking of... off the top of my head it went

#1 Oklahoma St
#2 Texas A&M
#3 Kentucky
#4 Iowa (could be #5, can't remember if another team finished higher than him or not)
BYU was in the top 10
UCLA finished #9/10 or 11 but after BYU
Army was in the lower 20s
UCF was after Army
Baylor & Syracuse were in the high 30s, low 40s

I'll be on my Christmas break next week from Sunday until Thursday. Yes, I know it's early. It's the only time that the wife and I could take off together. Anyway, we're heading to Knoxville to see my folks. My plan is to take the PS3 so I shouldn't miss anything. Just to be safe though, can I have a Week 1 bye? It shouldn't matter, but I've never tried the PS3 online there, so I don't know if I'll be able to connect or not.

Yeah Piney that brings up a good questions....have you looked at the schedules yet?

Custom Schedules? I have next year's ironed out (on who plays who) now I am just going out a few years.

Interestingly my scheduling idea works out pretty well (ie UCF, Army & Iowa playing 4 human games) Apparantly with 9 active human players, even with UCF, Iowa & Army playing 4 human games, everyone else still plays 3 (plus their one conference game) Now I am just trying to iron out some irregularities before I publish the next 3-4 years schedule.

Or were you asking about the advancement schedule?

When are you getting married again? Next weekend right? Too lazy to check back as it probably is buried.

From the looks of it tonight we will advance to cuts and then advancing to the preseason Friday night. This gives me the most time to work on everything, so we can be advancing to Week 1 either Saturday night or Sunday.

So then we will advance to Week 2 come next Wednesday/Thursday before you get married. So will probably try to get you a human game in week 1, then a CPU game week 2 then bye weeks in week 3-5 if possible (as long as no conference games are scheduled)

I get married this Saturday. Byes in week 1-2 would be best.

When I advance tonight will you be able to get your preseason stuff done before the wedding? I assume you have all the fun of rehersals tonight and then spending your last night of freedom with some hookers :pimp: and then in the morning it is time to start drinking heavily :drunks:

Disregard what I said in the other dynasty... I will advance this one as soon as I log on tonight. I will probably do a quick check around 8pm to see if I can advance at that time, if not it won't be til 10pm.

Okie dokie, finished up the future schedules and updated that post. Yeah, some things are weird on it, playing back to back years, home/away splits and such. But it is the best I can do at the moment and it doesn't get freaking for a couple more seasons. So most likely we add someone or lose someone and I get to work out those kinks.

If there are any requests for teams you want to play (or not play), feel free to mention them. But like before I am going to try to make sure the highly ranked non-BCS teams are taken care of since we do have everyone in a BCS conference still.

If things go as planned (ie people get their pre-season stuff done tonight/early tomorrow) we will advance to week 1 sometime late Saturday night. (ie 2-3am)
