Good game Nole... Another close game that I fell short in. 24-21

I grab an early 14-0 lead then a few mistakes and Nole adjustments brought him back and he took a 21-14 lead. Then I get back to UCLA ball and tie it up. A quick 3 and out and UCLA has the ball with 2 minutes left in the game.

I had plenty of time but I feel I had Iowa on their heels and was no-huddling and grabbed a few 1st downs and wanted to get close enough with enough time on the clock to run it in (My HB had over 100 yards, BN, don't ask who :wink2: ). Then I made my mistake. Audibled to quick pass for slants. My outside WR breaks free and was wide open. But I am late on the throw and the LB dropping into coverage intercepts it... ball game.

I was up on scUM 45-7 at the half. Then the second half started and they started making miracle plays right and left. I think the final ended up being 62-35. It's annoying as hell how the CPU pulls that shit in every blow out.

Bad news for me though. I lost my star WR (Walker) for the second consecutive season in the first game of the year. Huge loss for aTm.

Iron are you still on the same schedule?
Yeah, sort of. I have to go in early tomorrow to discuss some small explosions and a small fire that happened in the engineering lab today.

So, if you're available between 4:45 PM and 5:45 PM central time tomorrow, I'll probably be able to play. Hopefully, I'll be home by 4:45 PM CST. I'll let you know tomorrow, once I'm sure what my schedule is going to look like.

I can play between that time. Earlier the better obviously, but let me know when you get closer to an exact time.

I was just reminded that we have our first BBall game tonight. It is a 730 game. That means I will have to leave the house no later than 630. Which means we would have to start by 530 at the latest. Let me know.

I don't think that will be a problem. Unless road construction really fucks me, I should be home by 4:45 PM CST.

WOOD, I probably have to download the latest patch. That should only set us back a couple of minutes, but you never know if these EA servers are going to play nice. Other than that, it's looking like we're on schedule for a 4:45 PM to 5:00 PM CST start time.

Good game WOOD. I was sweating that one out until that last TD drive. I just wanted to pound it out and eat up the clock. I had to use four of the five RBs on my depth chart, with my backup FB finally scoring the clincher.

Kentucky goes into Stillwater and pulls out the 41-26 victory.
