NCAA09 PS3 BP Online Dynasty

C.J. Hall, CB, FR - Transfer to Hawaii
- Starter all year, moved to 4th CB against UK because of speed
- Don't know why he transferred
Noah Wright, WR, FR - Transfer to Hawaii
- 4th WR but KR
- Decent playing time
Brian Bates, HB, FR - Transfer to Hawaii
- 2nd RB but ran 3 RB set a lot so received a lot of playing time early
- Lost his job late to DiLuigi, maybe thats why

I don't like losing Wright a lot, but can live with Bates and Hall even though he is highly rated, he is slow.

I was wondering why you caught that without fair catching it, my guy was right on him.

Game synopsis:

Back and forth all game. Trading scores.

BYU passed into the endzone as time expired in the first from 5 yards out only to drop it. Tied 14 at half.

Good game Iron.

Good game as well IronBuckI

Opened up second half with the only defensive stop of the game for BYU and took lead 21-14.

Late in fourth quarter UK drives and scores with just under 2 minutes to tie it at 28. BYU drives to the right side of the 50 only to be forced to punt for the second non scoring drive of the game with under 25 seconds. Sky the punt to the 8 (or so) yardline, EA doesnt grant the faircatch and fumbles the kick, picked up and returned for a TD by BYU. Final 35-28 BYU.
I was literally shaking with anger when I typed that last night. I had to go back and add a few "[censored]s" just to drive the point home. After having a night to sleep on it, I'm able to give what I think actually happened. It wasn't like I was pounding on the triangle key trying to call a fair catch. I saw that your gunner was blocked, and waited to see if he would break loose before calling the fair catch. You broke loose about 15 yards in front of me, and I tried to call the fair catch. My experience with the lag I was getting in that game should have told me not to wait till the last second to call the fair catch, but I didn't adjust. The fact that I couldn't switch to Richard, who ignored the ball rolling on the ground and kept blocking, didn't make feel good either. Ford is lying on the ground, and your guy is laying on top of him, with the ball inches from his grasp, and Richard is blocking?

Good game though.

1-3 vs fanatic. One last second pick six for the loss. One last second pick to set up a game winning FG for fanatic. One last second muffed punt returned for a TD for fanatic. The lone win coming at BYU by 13 points.

It would seem that you and I are pretty evenly matched. Now if I could only stop choking in crunch time, we might see an OT game some day.

Oh, would you be so kind as to fill me in?

Iron has the basic idea...

Yeah yeah he expected to be a starter and if I would have had my coach strategy set to a 3-4 or 4-4, he would have stayed. Or, if I would have had him #1 on my depth chart and just removed him at the start of games he would have stayed. He wasn't worth the effort though. I have a shit ton of LBs, and I'll be able to move two of my stronger OLB guys to MLB to cover the hole, and let my younger and faster guys start at OLB.

Basically when you promise playing time they expect to be the starter. They don't care if they were the backup and played 50% of the time. The tricky one is being the #3 WR or #3 CB. They don't care you run 3-4 WR sets all day long, or that you play nickel/dime every down. In their eyes to be the starter they have to be either the #1 or #2 (if you start two of them like WR or CB) on the depth chart.

Well that's just fuckin' faggoty.

Army - (I guess these guys were not Army Strong)
Allen Horn, WR, FR - Transfer to Navy
John Chase, DR, FR - Transfer to Maryland
Rob Henry, RT, FR - Transfer to Maryland

Holy ****! I only had two returning DTs, and Chase was the only "good" one. What the hell? Now my only returning DT is a 1*. That's some bull right there.

Melvin Patterson, SS, JR - NFL Draft
Mike Motley, WR, FR - Transfer to Georgia Tech

Hmmmm, alot of freshman transfers??? Were their promises made that didn't happen???
Son of a bitch!!! F*ck Mike Motely's bitch ass, damnit I was hoping he would be my go to guy next year, but then again I didn't give him a CUSA Championship (maybe if he didn't drop a pass in the game... ugh). Patterson, I kinda knew he'd leave, I mean if Jamar Bryant quite me last year, then for sure Patterson was going to this year. Oh well, at least I have both of my RB's back, and all of my other WR's.

What's the off season schedule looking like?

Now that the shock of the transfers and stuff are setting in. And now people understand that promise of playing time (so be sure he will start and not play alot but as a backup) Time for the schedule.

We are currently in post season Week 1. While it would be great to tell everyone get their shit done tonight or else, it's Xmas time and I can't be that mean

Plus weekends can be hit or miss if anyone isn't available. So if this can't work for anyone... let me know ASAP!

I want to advance sometime Saturday to Week 2 (probable around 9/10p at the latest). Then Sunday at 10pm advance to Week 3.

Monday 11p - Advance to Week 4
Tuesday 11p - Advance to Week 5 (I know Wood & BN said that they are leaving this day, if I advance Monday night can you guys get your stuff in either late Monday night after I advance or Tuesday morning before you guys go wherever you guys are going?

Wednesday - Friday - MERRY XMAS!!!!

Friday night... Wood & Iron come back... Do you guys think you can log in that night so we can advance by 11p/midnight?

Friday/Saturday night (Dec 26/27)- advance to position changes

Saturday/Sunday (Dec 27/28) 11p - advance to cuts

Sunday/Monday (Dec 28/29) 11p - advance to 2010 Pre-season schedule

If anyone has Holiday plans that interfere with the above schedule, let me know. (or any other plans)

***Special Note*** - If you guys are done for the 'week' and you have time remaining, please set yourself to 'Ready to advance'. Especially when we get to position changes & cuts since it is hard to tell whether you just dont' have anything to do or not.

I'll likely be able to log in by then. I should be home in the early evening on Friday. I'll probably get my stuff done Tuesday night anyway. Depending on what time you advance, and what time I decide to go into work on Wednesday.

General guide to advancing without me this offseason:

If it's during recruiting, then I've already got it set up to spend my time on whomever is on my recruiting board, and no one else. So go ahead and advance without me.

If it's during position changes or cuts, then I definitely need you to wait for me to finish.

I don't think that there will be any conflicts, but you never know what kind of crazy [censored] will happen when travelling in Ohio, in the winter.

I leave Tuesday right after work. I know some of you know my work schedule, but anyways I work a 3am everyday. I go to bed at like 7-8ish. There would be no way for me to get my stuff done Tuesday or late Monday, unless I did it real quick before I left the house for work Tuesday. Which could be done, I guess. Friday I should have no problem logging in to get stuff done. I think my flight gets in around 145. So should be done by 6pm.

Colorado - NONE

Im thinking my team will be pretty decent

Darrell Scott is still there (he should be pretty highlighy rated now after 2 years of development) and I redshirted Chris Polk in year 1 so I should be able to have a nice running game

Passing game might be a issue, not sure on where the QBs will be (they sucked in year 1) I did land some speed receivers in year 1 recruiting that should help

I am pretty antsy for this advance. I may have a pretty big haul, or a very disappointing one. About 10 of the guys I am in on are pending commitments.

Also, how did Piney go 15-2 last year? He is adding games for himself to pad his stats, cheater.
