No funny business like last night either...waiting until 11PM, when I'm all tired and shit, and then challenging me to an honor du-al.
Last night when Piney advanced and I read it on my Blackberry, I assumed that there was still one more advance before our game so I just watched the TV then the Buckeyes, or I would have been on earlier.

It did however give me time to perfect my new defense. I will give you a sneak-peak....

Quarters - Prevent is my base defense. I move the coverage back and then react accordingly. I will be less likely to get burnt deep. I just hope you dont decide to run the ball as I will be slightly weak against the run.

That is the hope. Advance tonight/early tomorrow morning, (When will Iron & Fanatic get their game in?) then have Buchtel win the Championship either Friday/Saturday and then get into post-season recruiting for Sunday and then start advancing on a daily basis.

If everything falls the right way we can at least get to Week 3 of post season recruiting by the time we have to break for Xmas. Then we should be able to wrap up the post-season stuff before NYE to get into season 3 in 2009.

If you can advance to the MSUNCG, I could play it tonight. (And yes, I changed it from NCG to MSUNCG, cause you can't have a National Championship Game without Michigan State!)

Fucking bullshit. I called a fucking fair catch and the mother fucking piece of shit didn't register it. Fucking bullshit fumble to cost me the mother fucking ball game. The game should have gone into fucking overtime.

Good game fanatic, but bullshit ending. Fucking EA!

I was wondering why you caught that without fair catching it, my guy was right on him.

Game synopsis:

Back and forth all game. Trading scores.

BYU passed into the endzone as time expired in the first from 5 yards out only to drop it. Tied 14 at half.

Good game Iron.

Good game as well IronBuckI

Opened up second half with the only defensive stop of the game for BYU and took lead 21-14.

Late in fourth quarter UK drives and scores with just under 2 minutes to tie it at 28. BYU drives to the right side of the 50 only to be forced to punt for the second non scoring drive of the game with under 25 seconds. Sky the punt to the 8 (or so) yardline, EA doesnt grant the faircatch and fumbles the kick, picked up and returned for a TD by BYU. Final 35-28 BYU.

Congrats to Michigan State University on their second consecutive National Championship.

So congrats Buchtel!

So as the 2009 season ends it is time to look forward to the 2010 season. We have advanced to the Post-Season Recruiting Week 1. As a reminder the glitch still exists that prevents people from swaying players back from transfering or declaring for the draft. So I quickly advance through those stages and jot down who decided to leave your teams.

These decisions are final, as there is nothing we can do about it within reason. So just deal with it

EARL ENTRANTS / TRANSFERS

Army - (I guess these guys were not Army Strong)
Allen Horn, WR, FR - Transfer to Navy
John Chase, DT, FR - Transfer to Maryland
Rob Henry, RT, FR - Transfer to Maryland

BYU - You want me to put Hawaii on your schedule next year?
C.J. Hall, CB, FR - Transfer to Hawaii
Noah Wright, WR, FR - Transfer to Hawaii
Brian Bates, HB, FR - Transfer to Hawaii

Colorado - NONE

East Carolina -
Melvin Patterson, SS, JR - NFL Draft
Mike Motley, WR, FR - Transfer to Georgia Tech

Kentucky -
Luke Scott, MLB, FR - Transfer to Arkansas

Michigan State -
Antonio Jeremiah, DT, JR - NFL Draft
Tanner Suber, CB, FR - Transfer to Iowa State

Oklahoma State -
Kendall Hunter, HB, JR - NFL Draft
Chris Donaldson, DT, JR - NFL Draft

SMU -
Zach Rhodes, QB, JR - NFL Draft
(Somehow my 94 rated Jr DE that won the Lombardi came back?:groove2:)

TCU -
Jai Cavness, HB, SO(RS) - NFL Draft

Texas A&M - NONE

South Florida - NONE

Hmmmm, alot of freshman transfers??? Were their promises made that didn't happen???

I know that's what happened with Scott. I promised him playing time, and even made his 73 OVR rated ass my second string MLB. He got a lot of PT, because I had my second string defense in by halftime in more than half of my games, and he still left for Arkansas. The second defensive player in two seasons to leave UK for Arkansas.

I can't believe Tanner Suber left my team. He was a four star recruit, I promised him solid playing time first year on campus, and he got more than that. He was on the field almost every play of every game, as a fifth DB. He used to me to get a ring and left. Ungrateful bastard.

Luckily I got a few replacements. I was hoping Caulton Ray left, his incapable ass is gettin' cut. My running game was non-existent with him. I wish Javon Ringer had unlimited eligibility.

Every promised I made was KEPT. I am NOT a snake oil salesman. :sneaky:

Actually you both broke your promise to those guys :shake: You guys just didn't read the fine print. :paranoid:

Now the bigger question... should I tell you guys what you did wrong

Yeah yeah he expected to be a starter and if I would have had my coach strategy set to a 3-4 or 4-4, he would have stayed. Or, if I would have had him #1 on my depth chart and just removed him at the start of games he would have stayed. He wasn't worth the effort though. I have a shit ton of LBs, and I'll be able to move two of my stronger OLB guys to MLB to cover the hole, and let my younger and faster guys start at OLB.

I made a lot of promises so I must have kept them. What did everyone else do wrong?

What's the off season schedule looking like?

I would like one of my pitches to be that MSU trashes their players. make it happen.
