which are uncoverable (is that a word?) again?
Speed isn't nearly as significant as spectacular catch or Catch in traffic when throwing the lobs. I can throw a lob just as well with an 85 speed WR as I can a 98 speed WR.

When recreating my teams, there were some rating I did not touch, such as blocking ability for my DBs. The only people I changed EVERY rating were my potential position changes or when the computer had the player as some astronomical freak and 80s across the board. I often just bumped them down to the 40s.

So have I and I think it should be this way. There are too many goofy numbers that the CPU puts in. For example there was a TE with 80's defensive ratings across the board.
THEWOOD;1499790; said:I have only played one game in 10 and it was against Ohio State. I was not able to throw deep on them nor was I able to bounce outisde at all. I have a HB with 96 and a WR with 95 speed.
There seems to be a much stronger emphasis on the power game. I like the new balance.
Piney;1499805; said:The games I have played with fast players the only time I could lob it was if the player was left alone on an island and there was no safety behind him. (Probable better to ask the deep lob expert basebuck if he has had problems)
The lob is still there but it's completely different. It has nothing to do with blowing by the DB. It's all about positioning. Even if you do get a step with a fast WR, they will drop it 90% of the time if their CIT isn't at least mid 80's
