So with that here is the conference lineup for 2010.
Pac10 - BYU & TCU (or Fresno St, or whatever)
Big12 - Colorado & Oklahoma St or Texas A&M
SEC - Oklahoma St or Texas A&M & Ohio University (formerly SMU)
ACC - Virginia & East Carolina
Big East - South Florida & Army
The teams I will be kicking out of those conferences...
Pac10 - Washington & Washington St
ACC - Duke
Big East - Syracuse? (the only real choice, right?)
SEC - Miss St & Vandy (Ohio will be in the East Div and TAMU/OSU in the West) also, this would keep the Ark/TAMU rival together if TAMU goes to the SEC.
THEWOOD;1479588; said:So Basebuck what do you think? You will still have an inter-conference rival by moving to the SEC. I would need to schedule an OOC game against Oklahoma.
Why wouldn't Colorado move to the Pac-10, TCU to the SEC and TAMU to the Big 12 North(or keep them where they are), and leave oSu in the Big 12 south?Basebuck;1479600; said:It's a tough call because I have 3 rivals in the Big 12 so I always have a home rivalry game.
Colorado would be playing conference games in or near their recruiting base. TCU would be playing games in or near their recruiting base. If TAMU has three Big 12 rivals, the likelihood of them not playing one at home is much lower than anyone else moving, even if they were in the north, and on the occasion that all three Big 12 rivals were off the schedule, or all away, Arkansas could be added to the OOC as a home game.
