NCAA09 PS3 BP Online Dynasty

Ok, now with IronBuckI pledging to buy a PS3 and getting the game and joining our league we are now set with 12 teams. I am going to start planning the human v human schedules.

So my question is do we still want 2 required non-conference games? And then do you want me to figure out that schedule or do you guys want to plan them yourselves so you guys have a say on who you play and when.

2 is fine

you should probably just do the schedules though, it would be easier that way

IronBuckI has picked Kentucky as his team.

When I get the game tonight I will fix the schedules on post #1 to put the teams in that the computer has. (ie which E/W/N/S Div 1AA schools each team plays if any) Then I do have a rough breakdown of the rotational human games.

Regarding the schedule (if we keep the 2 human non-conference games) I plan on keeping any natural human v human non-conference games on your schedule (ie Army already plays 2 humans in non-conference so those will be his 2 games)

Then to make the games random I am first doing a schedule based on numbers (Team 1 will play Team 2 & 12 this year) Then I am going to fill in those numbers randomly with our teams then tweak them to avoid teams in the same conference. (ie if Team 1 is Texas A&M and Team 2 is Colorado).

When this is done (probable tomorrow) I will post the human v human future games for future reference.

I think the set number of human v human non-conference games gives the teams with many users in the same conference a disadvantage, I am fine with 2 but I think it would be fine to give some of these Big XII or Big East teams only 1

I agree with this. Also...since I am the only representative of the SEC, I refuse to play a non-conference game out of my region.

I was thinking along those lines, especially the Big 12 teams since in theory they could play 5 human games (2 non-conference) 2 in conference and then the conference championship game.

The Big East teams though only will have one in-conference game and no conference championship game. So they are slightly different.

Needless to say I am open for input on scheduling. I will try to sit down and try a few things out when I have some time at work.

I'll be getting the game today at some point, real pumped, but was just wondering what's everyones original reactions to NCAA 09?

Overall, the game looks great but the gameplay is largely disappointing. My major gripes are: 1) They got rid of the QB vision cone. 2) No custom playbooks AGAIN. 3) Passing is way too accurate and pass protection is way too good. 4) Same stale playbooks for the most part.

On the positive side: 1) The menus screens are much more fluid. No more long lags scrolling through the positions, states, etc. 2) The playing surfaces look much better. 3) Bluff coach cam play art for when you are playing against a human component on a single TV.
