Virginia took a knee on 1st down. Really my wife kicked the FG. I had to take a call and let her play the last couple plays. She didn't like the PM's he was sending.

Whatever... I was pissed about it last night, because I don't feel that anyone has a chance to comeback from a 27-14 deficit with :35 seconds left in the game and the other team having the ball on my 6 yard line.

Obviously box car has a different opinion and decided to score a TD and then he got an INT and kicked a FG with :04 left to add insult to injury... just different game philosophies I guess, I wouldn't have run the score up, but he likes to, whatever...

Anyways, the worst part to me is that it was a great game up until those last few seconds, and I just felt like box car spoiled the game by trying to score as many points as he could in those last few seconds... I didn't realize going for a 4th and 3 (when I wasn't moving the ball all to well the whole game) would get his panties in such a bunch.

Ok... so everyone get their panties straightened out?

To get things back on track I advanced this morning and we are now in Week 14. Since they should all be cpu games/byes and recruiting winding down I am hoping to advance again no later than Thursday night.

Week 15 should be quicker since there might be 1-2 games, I am hoping sometime this weekend/Sunday we will be into Championship Week (Big 12 will be a human game right?), that is the only one besides Iron, BoxCar & Mine beatdown of cpu opponents in the CCGs. Then off to Bowl week early/mid next week.

So like always... let me know if anyone is going to be out of town.

In two years though my coaches playing style could be completely different. Who knows, we might evolve after playing the much more talented human teams next year.

Great! Now I can see if I can wrestle that one star punter away from MSU. I got into the game late on him. I'm looking at moving him to Strong Safety.

I was just joking. I threw a fit a few seasons ago when BM11 beat me by letting the clock run completely down EVERY play. He then ran the ball for 3 yards everytime. It sucked and I bitched like an 8 year old girl

I know, I read that whole exchange. :slappy:

I'm still having a hard time adjusting to this league and all the man coverage played. Since my guys are so much slower I had some difficult times. I prefer to play close games and just make more plays than the other team down the stretch. Had to change that up completely and what I do now still isn't working well.

When MSU beat me seventy-something to whatever, I was tempted to start doing kneel-downs in the third quarter. It would have kept me from throwing more interceptions.

Hell, I've lost a ton of games in this dynasty by four or five touchdowns. Only once did I think, "Dude...stop throwing the damn ball. You're killing me." But as soon as I thought that, he never threw the ball again. He still scored another couple TDs by running Iso plays up the gut.

Next week we will be in week 2 of the Big Ten-Pac Ten dynasty. Week 2 features four human vs. human games. We'll hold our weekly "feelings" discussion in that thread next week. Maybe it'll give us time to hose this thread off. :tongue2:

Then I will proceed to whine about the dramatic fashion I lost to Fanatic in Week 2 for the upteenth time.

Wait a sec... why am I hijacking this thread with that? Have to move all of this 'feelings' shit to Iron's thread where it belongs :biggrin:
