You guys played better teams than I did and I'm convinced that winning via blowouts all the time hurts you in this game. I am also interested to see how playing USoCal and BC late in the year will effect the rankings. Am I very far behind in the BCS standings?
You're in the same position that I was in last season. One first place vote with the media. Three first place votes with the coaches. I'd imagine one of those coaches would be you.

FYI - Last night there was only a handful of guys that hadn't played/recruited yet. I plan on doing my stuff tonight and in a perfect world would love to advance again sometime tonight.

So if you know you haven't done your stuff yet, and you won't be able to do it tonight. Let me know.

When I finished up last night at about 11:00 CT. only ECU, Oklahoma St., and Colorado had to play besides Piney.

I am 100% convinced of this as well. You especially get bonous points if you play in some classic games. Notice some teams have been on fire in the rankings and in recruiting after some close games against good teams.

Was it that obvious?

By the way, I played Oklahoma last night and Calhoun is an absolute monster in the backfield. It usually took at least two people to bring him down. They were a difficult team to score a lot of points on because they continued to run the ball even when they were down by 30.
