So I got bored playing Boston College last night and tried to throw for 1000 yards in a game. I ended up winning 133 (126?) - 41 and throwing for 1100 yards. I also ran for 4 TD's. I kind of miss last years sliders.

I dont miss 40 broken tackles a game by the computer and the robo computer QB

and my QB making god awful eratic throws even though he is completely set

You intentionally ran exploit after exploit to see if you could pass for over 1000 yards. And now you want to talk about missing last season's sliders? Sliders that are proven to be wildly ineffectual against the same exploits that you used against Boston College?

I didn't run exploit after exploit until the second half when I was seeing what kind of stupid stats I could put up. Really, my first TAMU game scared me with how many deep balls I dropped and I wanted to right the ship.
At least with last years sliders we could get a feel for how different plays would work against human opponents. I don't feel that you can get a look against this years. I don't care, just pointing out that it's difficult to practice for human games against the CPU this year.

welp I got severly screwed in my game against Illinois... three times now I've thrown the ball perfectly to my WR with my QB's feet set and all three times the ball ended up in the defenses hands somehow. I don't understand that at all, and I had the edge in this game too up until the end of the 1st half. So we could have just traded TD's for the rest of the game and I'd have won.

I don't know what your QB's accuracy rating is, but I had the same problem with Dixon in as my QB. He only has a 76 THA though. Most of my INTs this year have been because of his accuracy problems.

However, 100% of the 6 or 7 hundred INTs that I threw to fanatic last night were thrown by Cousins, and all of those were my fault. :smash:

Yeah, the thing I hate the most about this game is the magnetic interception. I shouldn't know the ball will be an interception at the exact moment it leaves my QB's hand.

Edit: BN, I can get on around 8:30 again.

good game smooth. possibly the most fun I've had in these dynasties since the money plays started.

what buttons do you push to a) make your RB do 5 juke moves in half a second in the back field b) not even flinch when my defenders hit him?

That was a great game. That pick you had at the goal line pissed me off. I thought I had the perfect play called and your linebacker baited me into that throw. I was looking at that receiver the whole way. I didn't think he'd be covered at all.

As for your questions, Thigpen's one juking mo-fo. A couple of those he did on his own. On others, if I had him do a spin-move, he was able to slip out of tackles.
