Top 3 MAC recruiting classes:
1. Ohio
2. NIU
3. Temple

I didn't go down any farther than that....sue me
I'm probably sixth or seventh (~80th ranked nationally), so this year I'm going to say that recruiting rankings are garbage. :tongue2:

Ball State is a 66 overall for next year and I have not signed one 3* commit. I'm in trouble. I was actually pissed when Temple beat me out for a 1* WR recruit. :smash:

Gotta love the tables being turned on you. I am the total opposite in the other dynasty. Here I can grab whoever I want (I am like TAMU). I actually have to turn away 3* players cuz they just not good enough.

Next year I think I might be an unstopable recruiting force.

Most of my lack of success this year goes to the fact that I have targeted 2* recruits only out of absolute necessity. I'll likely have between 9-12 signees total this season. One of them is a 1* punter and 1 or 2 could be 2* Tackles. Everyone else is 3* or higher, and I just don't have any recruiting categories that are rated higher than Very Good, with the occasional exception being Proximity or Playing time. I started out by thinking that my season 1 success would translate to better recruiting, and I just didn't target enough attainable recruits. Oh well, last year's recruiting class and this coming season's Senior class might be able to carry me long enough to get back track next season.

Something that I will do for schedules next season will be to try and give everyone a later season marquee home game. Piney had his late season rivalry game against a computer controlled Miami U (rivalry game) and BN27 had his late season game against Penn State, and that really seems to help. The problem seems to be the availability of good teams to play late in the season.

That is the one issue with everyone in the same conference. If you can't beat user controlled teams (or lose to them when you have recruits coming in) that would really hurt recruiting visits. Now that buckeyemania is back there goes my surefire visit date. Even then it is only every other year.

And Iron, if you can't find a marquee team for my late home game next year, just give me Marshall late at home (actually I prefer them over a bigname team coming home)

That makes it easier for me. That means I only have to schedule nine late season marquee matchups. :smash:
