The speed was supposedly toned down in the new version of the game. I'm guessing your speed being the same number is actually making you faster in the new game.

That's not how I understood it, but I could be wrong. The way I understand it, is that 99 speed no longer equals a 4.16 40 time. During one of the videos in the NCAA 10 thread (one of the E3 videos I think). The guy said that there won't be any 99 speed guys with sub 4.2 40's. The 99 speed guys would be in the low 4.2s. That means that if you have a 99 speed guy that transfers over to the new game, that his speed will be equivalent to a 97 or 96 speed guy from NCAA 2009, but 99 speed would still be the fastest relative to every other speed rating in the new game.

I may be wrong....but are you just asking if you can create a random player to throw on your team? Such as, "I am stacked at RB, but have no depth at DT, can I delete a RB and replace him with a DT?"

Using your example...No. This will be a representation of the team that you built. If a team currently has a ton of RB's and no depth at DT, then that is what they'll have on the new team.

If the team builder will not allow them to create enough RBs to fill their current roster, then they'll have to decide which guys that they want to leave out. In that case, they will be allowed to keep the worst DT on the Illinois/UCLA/Oregon template, in order to fill out their depth chart.

Secondly, I thought about the whole issue with OVR ratings and I am curious as to how IRON (and Piney) is going to handle it. I believe we should get the same ratings as now regardless of wether it takes are OVR down or up......but I am just one opinion.

Again. This will be representative of how you built your current team. OVR rating is a calculation based on all of the other ratings. I agree with you that all of the player attribute ratings should be exactly the same as they are in this game, and if EA decided to change how they calculate the OVR, then good for them...their previous calculations were garbage anyway.

That's pretty much it. I have five QBs on my team but there's only four QB slots in Team Builder. I want to create a QB slot for my fifth guy. When you search for teams, put TaylorBuck in the Author option and my teams will come up. I also created an Ohio State team with the names added and a some jersey number corrections (Oliver, Barnett, Wood).

If you can create a fifth QB that matches the fifth guy on your roster, then that would be ideal.

I don't think I can. I may just give one of the six RBs in team builder all the ratings of my fifth QB and then change him to QB during the preseason or something. I only have four RBs but I have six RB slots in TB. I don't see where in TB I can change positions.

I don't see it either. I guess one solution would be to go ahead and make one of the HBs a QB, with all of the QB attributes, and when I download the team, I might be able move him to QB and fix the potential awareness drop before uploading rosters for the dynasty.

The schedule that I posted a couple pages back says Tuesday night. That was when I thought that fanatic wouldn't be back until Monday night though.

Basebuck and BN27 need to setup their game. fanatic needs to get his game in too. If the games are done today or tomorrow, then we'll advance...if not, we'll advance at 10 PM EST Tuesday night, regardless of status.

I was just messing around with it and getting a feel. I was importing my Okie State team. I know the ratings may change a bit due to training, but their numbers and the like will stay the same. It is time consuming though. I only did my QBs, HBs, FB and WRs.

I actually said that I would build the teams, but Olaf was proactive enough to build UCLA on his own. Why don't you go ahead and check out the teambuilder website and check it out. http://teambuilder.easports.com

I know you're the commish and all, but I think you're going to want to go on the honor system. Creating teams is time consuming. I'll probably be sick of it by the time I'm done with UCLA and Army, let alone my alma mater. You'll end up hating the whole idea if you try to create twelve teams on your own.

yeah, you did me a huge favor...I really don't want to spend the time needed to create a bunch of teams...just said I would if it was needed.
