how is recruiting shaping up for you two? Obviously you each have the 5-star, but are you sitting pretty for any other studs? My speed WR finally dropped, but I'm working with a lot of sleepers otherwise.

Cal is hogging the tackles.

I'm loving the O-Line recruits I'm bringing in, I gotta build from the trenches now since I didn't get the dual threat that I was hoping for. I'm sitting good on alot of recruits, I think you'll see the amount of recruits who will commit in the next few weeks. Alot of soft commits from more o-line and d-linemen as well as a speed corner and some runningbacks. I really wanted that dualthreat that UCLA took from me though.

so that wasnt close... felt like an old fsu/miami game, threw 8 INTs, just stupid throws, ran well, just got away from that too early...

Lol I think it was the vacation...I don't play a ton of human vs. human games. The run game was pretty potent for you. I cannot believe my downfield passing was on that game, made Nate Longshore look like a viable CFB quarterback lol. You contained Jahvid Best pretty well though.

I think he threw like 2 pick sixes... he was bringing the heat a lot which was warranted due to me having a statue for a QB. I did a good job of staying in the pocket for the most part and got him deep on a couple throws. I was staying away from Jahvid for the most part I didn't want to even feel like I was cheesing. Most of the INTs came in the second half when he was trying to make a comeback, that's when the game really got away from him I think.

yeah, he played solid mistake free football... after my first pick 6, i got out of the bread & butter, and tried forcing things more... standard fare

my recruiting is ok, lots of DEs, not so much OL

Jwins what times are you free later??
I'll be back and available in about 10 min, so 7:30 ish. I need a shower, but the wife gets home at 8-8:30ish, so I'd rather get the game in before that if possible. I can play any time this evening, i'll just have to bring out the monitor and take a break for dinner.

Definitely didn't run my option offense enough to prep for this, but we'll see how it goes.

Man sorry I just got back from the gym...Cavs game is on but I think I can skip some of it. I'll log on in a lil bit if you have time just log on. I might not be really quick to read the thread my comp won't be too close to me.

That. Game. Hurt. Terrible, terrible throws on my part. I usually try and play mistake free football and I was making the same mistakes more than once! I gotta admit jwins you don't turn the ball over much. I thought I had a good grasp on the game in the first half but once you got the run game going the tides turned. I made an adjustment but too late. On the offensive side of the ball I need playmakers bad; Best is about my only one.

In any case for the first season we pretty much round robin'd each other. UCLA beat Oregon, Oregon beat Cal, Cal beat UCLA. We'll see how getting in our type of recruits impacts the matchups. Good, clean, entertaining game!

Great game. I like to play tresselball out there, pound the rock, limit risky throws, bend but don't break defense.

On the play before the missed fake punt, I wanted a qb sneak, but hit the wrong button. Bad plan when you blitz up the gut.

Best is an absolute beast. He smoked me a half dozen times when I had excellent pursuit and containment, yet he darts and squirms his way through thee.

I wish my first loss had come OOC, because it would be interesting to see how the computer would award the champion title. Would all three get it in that hypo? You guys have to get past SC first. McKnight is unbelievable.

Wild finish to a great game. I sat in man coverage for most of the game, but on that final play, I went with a double corner blitz zone. When you hit the pass button, the LB had not stopped his drop... just a well timed call. I'll upload a few videos tomorrow.

redbenn, you just need to recruit for us to advance.

In retrospect, that was a really really good game. The two goal line interceptions killed me. The last one wasn't as bad because it was late in the game and I couldn't run the ball without killing clock anymore. I really want to see those highlights now.

I had some high caliber recruits visiting that game...I wonder if the fact it was an instant classic will help in their recruitment or will it only hurt because I lost? Also, I just realized that this will definitely make it so that I'm not ranked...my only hope is to beat U$C.

I'm pretty sure that nailbiter losses rate better than simple losses. I came up a yard short vs clemson at home, and a lot of my visits were B/B- instead of the typical C's after a loss.
