I'm just sayin'...and it's only 1 of the 32 games...not like I did all that great picking anything else...

There are just some match-ups that are overwhelmingly obvious, you know it's true.

Yeah, kinda like how most Duke fans are overwhelmingly douchey....ya know?

There are times when you have a feeling a matchup is going to go a certain way but anyone who's gambled on sports more than a day knows that nothing is obvious to "anyone who watched" a team play. If it was there would be no betting on it.

My point was to your after the fact-I knew it all along-a blind retard could have seen that one coming-type hyperbole. Show me the ticket for the big money you laid down before the game before you tell me how obvious it was.

Nah that would be too easy. If anything, TheRobb has shown us he likes to take the easy road, i.e. liking duke in basketball and not in football and liking Ohio State in football and supposedly not in basketball.

Guys who take the easy road are all talk.

...or how some people call others names to make themselves feel "cool" :wink2:

I don't know why you're getting so worked up about my response...was it because I suggested you weren't 100% correct?

I'm just saying that I, PERSONALLY, MYSELF was overwhelmingly sure that this game would go similar to how it did...I'd be a fool to say that in effort to boast some sort of ungodly bracket picking power with my bracket open to anyone on this forum to see how terrible I've done...

Hell, I've mentioned how crappy I've picked this year a few times in THIS thread...

What's the beef?

It's obviously with everybody you have disagreements with, rather than you.

How can I make it any clearer? It's got nothing to do with me being wrong. I'm wrong about 45% of the time and that makes me pretty damn good at sports betting.

You trying to tell me and everyone else how obvious it was after the fact and how anyone who watched a game of theirs should have known they would lose....that is what annoys people. If you honestly don't realize what a tired bit of douchebaggery that is then nothing I can say or do is going to make a difference.

Well, my bad then...

I thought I was making it clear that I was only referring to my personal confidence in that game...I had an educated "gut feeling" and if I were a gambling man would have definitely put money on it...

...sure I understand saying that after the fact amounts to nothing but it is what it is...

I wasn't trying to imply that everyone else was stupid or blind for not having that same feeling...

My point is that we're average. Regardless of hype.

EDIT: hence I see no need for us to cast stones...

All we heard prior to the tournament was how the Big East was the best conference in basketball and were unlucky to only get 8 teams in. I think if Illinois and not Minny had been in, the Big Ten would have been 5-0. I also think that Wisky will surprise some folks, despite the first game jitters.

Just look through the Big East record so far, some stunning losses there.
