Thanks for nothing, Marquette. They played about as passive as any team can in that situation. I think Washington got away with a lot of stuff down the stretch, but they were the assertive team and deserved to get rewarded for it.

I had them in the Elite Eight. I was worried about taking a team like that deep into my bracket. Looking at that region though I'm having trouble second guessing myself. I'm still convinced that New Mexico isn't all that good and that Thuggins is going to make his customary first weekend exit with West Virginia. I'm going to need Washington or Missouri to go pretty deep to make up for this.

I've been trying to smooth talk everyone today like I knew that this year's tourney was going to be crazy...

...truth be told, it's not even the end of the first day and I have no shot at winning any pool...anywhere...

I'm pissed...

BTW, can anyone tell me where the setting is to turn the censor back on? I'm not a big fan of all the profanity everywhere...

I had a feeling this was going to happen after seeing the results of the NIT games......I just didn't actually make the change in my bracket.

of course.....I didn't expect Georgetown to be one of the chokers.

This has been the best day of watching games in the tournament in years.

Just in terms of close games and exciting finishes. The failure of the Big East teams is a bonus.

Assuming Kansas pulls it back together and finishes off Lehigh...

...do you think a tough battle in the first round is good for a team like Kansas, who's in a bracket with some of the best teams (or so we think) in the tournament...?

This battle could be the worst thing for the rest of the field...a giant like Kansas is definitely not going to get "snuck up on" the rest of the way after this one...
