SIU deserved to have that last second shot go in with the way Kansas was shooting free throws. But, Kansas got the win and that's all that matters.

And once again my bracket goes to hell. SIU let me down, they had it and let it get away.

Pathetic end-of-game call by Dick Enberg and Jay Bilas.

It was 61-58, with Kansas shooting 2 free throws with 2.2 seconds to go. SIU's out of timeouts.

They miss the first, timeout called by Kansas. Plenty of time for the announcers to realize the score and the clock.

They miss the second free throw, and Bilas says they should foul (right, dipshit, when they have the ball 85 feet away with 2 seconds to go and no way to stop the clock). As they heave a 45-footer when the buzzer sounds, Enberg says "For the win!" when the ball is in the air. After it bounces off, not close to going in, he corrects himself saying it would have tied the game.
