My game, wow. I was down 11 with just over a minute to go and two timeouts. I score but fail the two point conversion to pull within 5. They run twice making me use both timeouts, but the Qb throws the ball away immediately stopping the clock on third down. They line up to punt with about 50 seconds left. My normal PR is hurt and I make the decision before the punt to fair catch, as soon as the camera flips I call for it, inexplicably the return man moves and the ball bounces all the way to about the 15.

The drive goes well until I move the ball to the 48 yard line and I throw 2 incompletions. 5 seconds left down 5 from the 48; my WR are all out from fatigue and I have TE on the outside and three CB's in patterns. They run cover 2 man and the S blows his coverage and I hit a slot CB behind coverage as time expires to win it. I thought for sure he was going to drop it in the end zone and I was going to lose.

Nevada just gave me all kinds of problems on offense. I had 4 INTs and a fumble. I was only leading 14-7 at half, and that lead was only because I threw an 80 yard bomb with 13 seconds left in the half. I only led 17-14, with a little over a minute to play in the game. That's when Nevada fumbled and my corner scooped and scored. On the next drive Nevada threw their 7th pick, and 8th turnover overall, to seal the 10 point win. The real problem with my TOs wasn't super LBs or anything, but my receivers were just useless, and then I started forcing throws. Early on, my receivers were dropping balls or fumbling after the catch, despite having catch and carry on conservative. Later in the game, they couldn't get away from bumps or jams, and I was throwing the ball when I thought they would break away from coverage, and I ended up throwing it to the defenders.

Very lucky to get away with the 24-14 win. Especially with the large group of visitors I had in for this game.

I don't know what the hell happened with this guy, but I'm really happy he's coming to USF. 6'3" 218LB safety from Texas. 81 (+5) OVR. 97SPD, 93ACC, 80 STR, 80's in AGI, JMP, and INJ, 80's in all tackling categories, 70's or 80's in all coverage categories.

When I discovered him, I wasn't on his board, and Utah had a big lead. I climbed up his board to #2, but he was a soft commit to Utah, they had 300-400 point lead, and they had offered. Then EA Sports stepped. Two or three weeks ago I signed my second choice at FS, I checked my recruiting board to see if I had closed the gap on this guy, and it simply had me listed as #1 on his list. It didn't say that I had moved up...just that I was #1, as if I had always been #1. Utah was now more than 1,000 points behind me, and the closest school to me was Wisconsin, and they were more than 700 points behind me. From then on I just kept my foot on the gas to get this guy signed before EA stepped in EA'd me like the EA'd Utah.

Smooth, you're fixing to hate me. Watson, the 3* TE that you led for just instant committed to me. I just jumped in on him a few weeks (maybe 3?) ago and Smooth was leading. I wasn't planning on going crazy after him until I scouted him and he was a +3 through last week, then I spent 60 minutes this week and he is an 80 (+9) with 75% scouted. He is a blocking TE, with okay - below average receiving skills and only 78 SPD & 73 ACC; but I now have this gem and a 76 rated balanced TE. Not terrible.

My class on this team makes my Mizzou class (which is good) look average.

And seriously, 97 SPD 93 ACC S? I think the fastest guy I was in on was a 95-96 ATH that Piney got in the other league. I have lots of guys in the 87-92 range but their ACC always ends up being 8-10 points less. I'm jealous.

That 3* TE I led for I only recruited for a week and I already got the one I wanted. No biggie. I'm pretty much just going after some long shots now. I got the #1 DE for the second time in three years and I finally got a stud 79 OVR DT.

I'm done with my game. I was the last one.

I know that I keep bragging about this recruiting class, but god damn! this year has kicked ass. Morrow is an 81 OVR DE with an all around game, and Jennings is the second #1 safety signed in as many weeks. 79OVR, with good size, speed, etc..

I'm not going to get the tackle that I trail Piney for, and I'm not going to get the DT that I trail Olaf for, but missing on those guys won't kill my class, they would've just added high quality depth to an already amazing recruiting class for USF this year.

Damn this is fun!
