4*, yes. 5*s shouldn't, and I haven't seen it. The QB I got plummeted to a 69 OVR. I'm after a 3* QB that's a gem and better, but I don't think I can get him.

The beauty of 4&5* busts in this dynasty... they are still better than most of your roster. That's the case of the 4* RT I just got, he was a -8, but a 67 still isn't a bad player.

Now regarding 5* gems... I think I might have found one. But not in the conventional +7 rating type, just some certain attributes surprised in the right way.

I am in on a 5* athlete that I am looking at QB, He had THP at 'A' and THA at 'C' and speed at 'C'. Well that translated after scouting to a 91 THP, 77 THA and speed at 89!!! Along with mid 80s Acceleration and Agility... to me that is a GEM QB prospect!!!

But he is going to be an uphill battle since some big schools are after him. But he will be worth it!

Heck, he might not even be the best QB prospect I am looking at, another athlete projected at 10 points less than the 5* athlete (5* is rated a 79 and the other athlete is a 69) but he has 89 speed, 81 THP and 84 THA and he is built like Tebow (6'5 245lbs)

Tough ass game that was. Temple got every break and twice on Sunday in the 1st quarter as I was down 31-7 midway through the 2nd quarter. I actually had to stop simming on defense and play the full game... HATE THAT!

Halftime was 31-17 and then I was able to erase the deficit in the 3rd quarter as we tied at 38-38. Scored to go up 45-38 and then I had the ball running out the clock with 1:30 left. 3rd and long and I decided to go for it and threw a pick 6... FUCK! 45-45 Got the ball back and ran out the clock and hit a game winning FG as time expired.

I guess I should stop simming on defense cuz that is what kills me, damn my lazy streak.

I had him as a -9 for 66 OVR, with only injury and jumping left to be scouted. I have two 3* gems rated quite a bit higher than him, and both have me #1, so I just left him on my big board, with an offer so you'd think I was going after him hard, and maybe you'd waste some extra time trying to fend me off. Unfortunately, he committed sooner than I wanted him too.

Yeah, you can find a gem within a bust at the ATH position. I'm fairly certain that one of my ATH recruits in Olafs Dynasty projects as a mediocre HB or linebacker, but he projects as a 3* gem at QB for me. I have no intention of even looking at QB prospects in these dynasties. ATH's with passing skills are everywhere, and fit my offense much better than damn near all of the QB prospects.

Shit... he gets worse? I only had him 60% scouted but the main OLine ratings were done so no need to scout him more. I actually wasn't using much time on him, one of the reason I track how many points I am up or behind on a guy. Let's me know if there is really any threat or how tough a climb I have to go to get a guy.

That's what I think is happening to the 5* athlete I am looking at. Seems like he could also be a real good DB. So if I get the other ATH/QB guys I am looking at I might let him play defense. But you are right... TONS of athletic QBs as ATHs. Heck, I stumbled on another guy, while he was C-C for throwing I was looking at him as a LB/S and all of the sudden in scouting his THP is a 86 (haven't unlocked his THA yet)

The only problem with these athletes is it takes sooooo much time to scout them, I hate it when I get the attributes I want to see but need 1-2 more key ratings and it gives me the crap I don't care/want to see.

IBI, we're all done.

This is my big recruiting week and I was pretty nervous playing UF after the egg I laid against the Cuse last week. But Brissett decided to throw 6 picks and this was a blowout the whole game.

I accidentally had a 5* recruit visit during my bye week. Luckily, I still pulled a B- visit. Unluckily, LSU is still going to run away with that commitment.

Hopefully I don't get plunger raped by Stanford this week. I only scheduled a couple of visits for this rivalry game, because I really don't know what to expect. Boom or bust probably.
