Not really. However, by coming in now, you, obviously, couldn't do a TB team, and you would have to play all three of us this season, while we would only have to play you.

In the first post of this thread, there is a link to all of the eligible teams. I did a strikethrough for the teams that have been taken off of that list due to school prestige and/or conference affiliation.

I didn't consider what would happen if a team from a lower conference made the NCG, so I added the all caps portion to the promotion rules.

Dang it... Rice was the team I wanted to be as I do love me some Owls

I considered Rice for a good long time too. Rice was one of the teams that had to be a TB team. Their 2* prestige was too high for this dynasty. Now, they're in the Sun Belt, which makes them double ineligible. :tongue2:

Damn TB teams...

Of course I could pick San Jose St to duck out on playing you :tongue2:, then again there is no way I could beat Fanatic or Olaf... and you would have been my only hope for a human victory :biggrin:

I'll try to check out which crappy team I would want tonight and let you know.

I figured I can't miss the fun of this league of being really crappy (I'll have an excuse for how bad I am) plus most of the time I will probably sim the games but care more about recruiting. Plus when we transfer the game to NCAA13 I can give my team a snazzy name and cool colors :biggrin:

EDIT - To double check, I can't be UNLV/Buffalo or Memphis either since those are TB teams and aren't even in the NCAA anymore... correct?

Piney has recreated the Texas State Armadillos (from Necessary Roughness). I've downloaded his team, and redownloaded my team after relocating it to California. I'll take the current dynasty down, and get the reincarnated dynasty up and running tomorrow morning.

I'm going to put North Texas into the WAC, and make Rice/Texas State an Independent.

Everyone is in. I'll try to get schedules finished today. I'm going to do it differently this time, and won't be scheduling any of us against the other Independents. That way, if someone else wants in they can just take over for one of the available teams. I'm also going to try to stick with playing in our own halves of the world. With the exception of rivalry games, Piney and I will only play teams from the Sun Belt, WAC, and Conference USA West, and fanatic and Olaf will only play teams from the MAC and Conference USA East.
