If any of you are any good at Excel, is there a way to print the ratings so I can actually use them? It's a huge pain in the ass trying to do this without a printout. When I try, they'll print out in such a way that I'll have to print each page side by side by side in order to use them. I wouldn't mind if each page would have a header or something, but they don't.
Which version of excel are you using?

EDIT: Nevermind...just go here

That way you can print the title and the name on every page

Go to the "eligible teams" link in the first post. Look at the season 1 ratings for Memphis, and make the following adjustments. You're now a 3* program. You'll increase Championship contender, ahtletic facilities, fan base, and pro potential by a full letter grade (C to B, C+ to B+). All of us will have a coach prestige of C (up from our starting 'D' rating), and all of the other pitches will remain the same as what's on that spreadsheet.
I just uploaded my team, and started a new dynasty. My coach prestige should be a 'C'. However, just like last year, it doesn't matter what I have it set to. I'm still sitting at a 'D-' for coach prestige. I'll try playing around with it a little bit to see if there's anyway around starting that low, but it looks like we're all going to start out with coach prestige as 'D-', regardles of what we plug into the TB site.

It looks like our schools will start with the same preseason ranking of the team that we replace. That gives Spartanburg a preseason ranking of #29, West Chester #39, San Francisco #40, and Piney State #43.

Ok guys. I'm working on which teams we're going to replace, here's what I have so far.

West Chester replaces Penn State. Primary rival will be Michigan State. Secondary rivals will be tOSU, Temple, and Nebraska.

Spartanburg will replace Da U. Primary rival is FSU. Secondaries are UF, BC, and VT.

San Francisco will replace Cal. Primary rival is Stanford, Secondaries are UCLA and USC.

If Piney stays in Texas, he will replace Texas Tech. Primary rival is Texas. Secondaries are Baylor, and TAMU.

The reason that I'm thinking of going this route instead of replacing bad teams is this. I want Penn State out of the game. When I was cooking this up, I realized that this would give Olaf much more "interesting" rivalry matchups than the rest of us, so I figured I'd try to do something similar for each of our schools. Also, by leaving the really bad teams in the game, it gives others a chance to join as one of those teams. Also, I don't think that Cal, Texas Tech, or possibly Miami are going to climb to dominance in this system, so why not take their rivalries and make them our own?

I was going to mention something earlier, but figured you would test it . Read on operation sports that the Coach prestige for ANY teambuilder team defaults to D- no matter what you enter.

So maybe give us a wildcard to upgrade one of our recruiting pitches by one full letter grade? Or since everyone is in the same boat, just leave it as is?

*FYI - I started slowly building my team on teambuilder. Did the basics; stadium, uniforms, logos and such. Decided to mix the Texas State Armadillos with the Texas State Bobcats. Helps that the new name is the Bobcats since I am a Ohio Bobcat  and that Texas State Armadillos colors are green. So doing a lil mix and match combining their uniforms and in addition stealing the Ohio University black alternative unis that kick ass.

So my teambuilder team will be called the Texas State Bobcats.

I'll have to check on whether that will work. I am replacing Texas Tech with your team, so there will already be a Texas State Bobcats in the game.

I can try to replace Texas Tech with your team, then try to replace Texas State with TTU, and see if all the rivalries and rankings settle into place like I want them to.

As far as coach prestige goes, I think that Program Tradition stayed static last year, so we can all bump that up to a C+ in order to offset the reduction of coach prestige.

I'm pretty sure you can have duplicate team names. I accidentally had three separate #7s on the field simultaneously on special teams with one of my teambuilder teams.

I have an idea... I think South Alabama isn't in the game. Maybe if you can find someone who made South Alabama via one of the gaming forums, you can download that teambuilder team and take the 'real' Texas State out and replace them with South Alabama. Just a thought.

That's a possibility. I'll see what I can find. I think that my idea of moving TTU and TSU around will work, but, if it doesn't, the South Alabama route might be the way to go.
