I wouldn't do it this offseason. Too much of an awareness hit. Just keep him at RB, and move him to WR when you do your TB team for '13Smooth Olaf;2149615; said:The good news is that I won. I finally played against a team with an elite player. Western Michigan's QB is rated 90, and boy, did he ever show it. I ended up winning on a field goal as time expired.
The bad news is that I lost my 4* freshman for 11 weeks, so he's out for the year. He came in as an athlete and I put him as a RB. He'd probably do better at WR, but my QB is so bad that I knew there would be games when my stud would never touch the ball. I'll probably move him to WR in the offseason, but man, I'm going to miss him. He was the only one worth a damn on my offense. I had to burn the redshirt of another frosh RB to take his place.
Yeah, he'll take an awareness hit regardless. Once you give them a position, moving them to a new position will hurt their awareness. It may not kill it, but it will go down. I just moved an ATH from safety to corner, in your dynasty, and he took a 12 point awareness hit. He was supposed to be better at corner, but I needed a safety. I designated him as a FSbefore his Freshman year, and moved him to corner before his Sophomore year. His awareness dropped 12 points.Smooth Olaf;2150075; said:Even if he was an ATH to begin with? He's a 75 RB. I think he was a 72 WR originally.

This is truly the best advise that anyone can give for help with the running game. I used to stand on the sprint button as soon as the ball was given to the RB. In previous versions of this game, speed meant everything. In order to quell the dominance of otherwise unskilled speed players, it's believed that EA made it so using the sprint button would basically call the defense to the ball carrier. Using sprint for anything other than open field running, or to try to beat an unblocked defender to the edge, is unwise. You're just asking for blocks to be shed, and running plays to be stuffed.Piney;2150188; said:EDIT: Oh yeah, a second tip. DO NOT USE SPRINT until you are past the line of scrimmage. It does amazing thing for blocking, really. You use the sprint button right away and defenders are more likely to shed their blocks, while not using sprint those block hold just a lil longer to help you get through a clogged line.
