NCAA Football (PS3) Promotion/Relegation Online Dynasty

I'll get my game in tonight and do what's necessary in Olaf's Dynasty, but I won't be advancing until Wednesday night. Fanatic is out of town until Tuesday, and I have a lot of awards, and promotion/relegation stuff to work on anyway.

Stupid Media poll... How dare they rank the #1 team in the country #5!!! Stupid media bias towards Notre Dame and South Carolina :biggrin:

FYI - I should get a bonus promotion for making a BCS Bowl in season 1 when no one else could. Plus being ranked #1 and all :wink:

Yep. You'll be the only independent next season.

Next season is when the other four of us really have to fight each other for promotion. That's when only the winner of the MAC Championship game (probably Smooth vs. fanatic) and the winner of the Fiesta Bowl (probably me vs. Piney) will be guaranteed promotion to Conference USA.

In case you didn't know, Olaf will be in the MAC Midwest, fanatic in the MAC East, Piney in the Sun Belt, I'll be in the WAC, and darby will be independent next season. I'll look at the final standings, relegations, awards and other shit once I do whatever needs to be done in Olaf's dynasty.

Thank god I am not in Fanatic's conference... sick of him kicking my ass in the other dynasty.

Also... what up with Ben Green not winning the Heisman??? MEDIA BIAS STRIKES ME DOWN AGAIN!!!! (and I refuse to think of him as the other name you typed :biggrin:)

At first, I had that name on every award that he won. But it was starting to make me sick to my stomach. So I deleted all but one. :tongue2:

It was pretty exciting. I just knew that I was going to get destroyed by MSU last night, but didn't.

I won the coin toss, and decided to defer. It's the first play from scrimmage, and Cousins throws a backward pass that bounces off his HBs back and my fat d-lineman picks it up and rumbles 25+ yards for a score. Next possession MSU drives to the 15 yard-line, and Cousins tries to pitch the ball, it hits my LB in the back, and I recover. I can't get more than a couple of first downs, and I have to punt. MSU finally breaks through against my over-matched defense, and the score is tied 7-7. It stays that way for most of the first half, then, on what should have been an incomplete pass, my safety hits an MSU receiver as he's trying to catch the ball, and the ball pops loose...bounces off the ground a couple of times, and my LB picks it up and runs it back 59 yards for a TD, 14-7 PCU. Then, MSU is driving to try and tie it by halftime. They have a 4th and short at the 40, and come out in 4 wide. I knew it was going to be a run, so I came out in the 3-4, and stuffed it. I ran a few plays, and got to the 50. There's only 2 seconds left, but the CPU decides to bring their safeties up to stop the run. 50 yard pass over the top, and it's 21-7 at halftime. The second half was fairly uneventful. My senior HB ended up with 165 yards, mostly on two long TD runs, and my QB finished the game 1-1 for 1 TD, and an ~ 830 QB rating :lol: .

Final score 35-7 PCU.

As of 10:30 last night, we are just waiting for Piney to play his bowl game.

I've invited BN27 to join, so he will start out as an independent with Akron, Eastern Michigan, New Mexico, New Mexico St, or one of the eligible relegated teams. I'm assuming that all of the relegated teams will be eligible but won't know for sure until I have a chance to see which ones will likely still be above the D+ level. I want to get him in before we advance to the offseason, so he can make all of the necessary roster moves. So, once Piney is finished, there might be a slight delay. I want to be able to look at the relegated teams, their previous ratings, and their current recruiting rankings, and base their eligibility on that information.

Olaf, I can't remember when conference changes and coaching carousel take place. Can you give me the offseason sequence of events?
