NCAA Football 12 + Rosters

In RTG, why is it that you don't run every single play? I'm a QB, just played Florida and didn't run one play. My created player wasnt hurt and the entire game went simulated. What's the point of playing if you it just simulates? Anybody else havin this issue?

I went to Georgia, was named starter after the 3rd game. I had to go through a position battle and everything. Heck, I'm a couple big plays away from being a field general through coach's trust. Yet the entire game just simulates??????????

I thought of that or being fatigued. It's neither. Just played against LSU, actually got to play about 7 plays in the 1st quarter(TD Drive) and that's it. There is a little over a minute left, my d forces a punt. What happens? 2 dropped passes and 2 incomplete passes because I didn't get a chance to run them. Finished the game 17-24, 267 yards, 2 TD but only completed 3 of them. Wtf.

Make sure you aren't pressing anything that is supersimming the plays you were supposed to be in.... Check the player stats to see if you have extra plays that you have been simming. A couple of times, I have been mashing to get to my side of the ball and have inadvertantly simmed a couple of my own plays.

All I do is hit x to simulate my defense. I figured after the other team turns the ball over, scores, turnover on downs, i just had to hit x? i noticed the square button is an option that simulates until you are on the field. maybe i should try that instead of x?

Yeah, try that. Try to remove as many variables as possible, that will help identify the cause.

I always hit square, but I don't really give a shit about watching each play develop. If you prefer to see a sim of every play, I believe (x) is the button to sim one play.

yeah you should be hitting square. X will sim the play as if you looked at it and didn't feel like running it. square will simulate until you're on the field again.

RTG is so frustrating.... I am averaging 10 yards a carry as a HB and started with two 10 yard runs against PSU on the first drive of the game.... I finished the half with 3 carries.... and the game with 7 carries for 56 yards....

All of a sudden OSU is a freaking Air Raid School? I may have to transfer, lol

I use my timeouts if I don't like the play called. I also refuse to save and I replay the game unless I get at least 20 carries and/or 100 yards.
