NCAA Football 12 + Rosters

Was it last years NCAA where everyone complained because the uniforms didn't show dirt/grass stains? Looks like that photo took care of that issue this year, lol.

Well, supposedly someone at EA either forgot to add them or took them out... I'm gonna go with took them out, because I highly doubt they start each year with a completely new slate.

Then they had to release a patch after the game came out to fix the problem.

Yes it was NCAA 11 as well.

It's beyond me how nobody noticed that in the EA studios and how they still didn't have it fixed in the first patch.

Does EA think I honestly give two [censored]s about HDR implementation? We've had that since 2004. I don't give a [Mark May] until the more serious game flaws are finally addressed.

Apparently, because one of the new features EA was advertising for NCAA 11 was improved lighting lol. I will try and find the video of it.

NCAA 12 on Facebook has a small preview for a few new plays.

1st: Is a HB off tackle out of what looks like Oklahoma's 'Diamond' formation.

2nd: Cover '6'. Its a Nickel package. Both LB's & the RCB in a hook zone. The LCB & FS in a deep 1/4 with the NB in a BnR Hook zone.

The standout thing to me is the SS - being in a deep half. Maybe its just me, but I'd prefer having my FS in the deep 1/2. Unless the SS has either high ACC or AWR.

I can see the deep 1/2 being attacked by a 'go' or a FB on a seem route ala Ohio State's Pony in NCAA 11.

You could just flip the play and the safeties will flip responsibilities.

it was 11. they tried to say the lighting will change real time with how the sun was setting. what actually happened was the lighting was the same for the first quarter, then it got noticeably darker at the starts of each new quarter.

which is a pretty perfect example of the stupid shit they try to pass off as "upgrades"

all the lighting effects look awesome in instant replay, but in actual gameplay it is probably turned off or something

It is in 11. Ever see a player run back to the huddle and his shield is all messed up and looks 1-d? The same thing with the facemasks, watch closely when players run back to the huddle and EA isn't in the zoomed in view.

You can also see this during a replay, look at a player with a shield, (it's easier if you have a dark shield), slowly zoom out, and once you get to a certain distance away, the shield completely changes and looks pathetic.

Mhm. What you are talking about was also a feature they had on the PS2 versions and they re-added and it called it a new feature.

I think we are to the point now where we should have live weather. Like where it rains for part of the game, then stops, then maybe starts again. Rarely do you have heavy rain for an entire game. It would be cool to start a game with light overcast skies (so you have to worry about the possibility of rain)and then have it start raining. Of course they would also have to make weather actually impact the game for this to have an effect.

I'm more of a gameplay guy, but this would be a sweet addition, and it's not unreasonable at all.

Ahhhh, NCAA12... the only thing that might force me back in. I have been able to hold off buying a new PS3 since my last one stopped reading disks.

This year I might actually be able to hold off, as long as they don't get their ass in gear and make REAL improvements to the game. They so ruined recruiting last year I never came back after my PS3 died.

But like always... I will probably go in with no expectations, then I will watch all the improvements they are doing and start getting excited and get close to buying a PS3 & NCAA12 and get into the dynasties again and drive my wife to divorcing me.

My wife is the best, but then again she might be trying to get reasons to divorce me.

Her early birthday present was to sneak away my PS3 and get it fixed!!! She was talking with someone at her work and somehow she found out this guy fixes XBox/PS3 in his spare time.

So yeah... I will be pre-ordering NCAA12 :smash::smash::smash:
